Reminds me of Princess Resurrection in more ways than one. The basic similarities are that they were both better as manga, and the main male character was a weakling pushover in both the manga and the anime; but had some real power in the manga. IE: some kind of transformation. Which were cool but left out of the anime’s for some reason. I guess so they wouldn't be so cool or to give the main character a since of still being human in a world that is far from.
The show seems in a rush to cover as much of the first 5 volumes

It wasn't the best but was interesting enough to keep my attention thru till epi 20. Reminds me of Rosario + Vampire in more ways than one.
