i quite enjoyed the idea behind it cute girls + well executed fights + comedy. it was so close to being a hit but it was missing one critical thing and due to that it fell apart completely. there was no solid story line, it was just people fighting over lunchboxes with cute girls and a weird harem.
The anime was visually okay it just lacked a proper story line, well that and a decent main character.

just lets people beat him up for no reason] when its in a harem setting but the harem still kinda sucked. don't get me wrong the characters were quite good as individuals i really liked sen, inoue and the wizard they all had they're redeeming qualities well except sato.
honestly i think what pissed me off the most was the fact that he kept getting beaten up for no reason i know its an anime that revolves around fighting but he'd only get beaten up OUTSIDE the fight scenes. him vs people in a fight = awesome. him walking outside his classroom = owned for talking to oshiroi. wtf!?
all in all i'd say it was fairly enjoyable i know i complained a bit but like i said at the beginning its only major flaw is the random jigsaw story and the main character but the latter is more of me just not liking wimpy main characters.
basically if you have loads of free time watch it, otherwise don't bother your not missing much.
