If you see this manga at first glance, you probably won't see the appeal. That's what I first thought until I saw that it was Hagio Moto's work. If you are an otaku, please read at least one of her works.
Although it was a one shot, it was very outstanding and touching. I never knew just a few pages of manga could affect me like that. After reading it for the first time, go back and read it again. Then it would make more sense, and you would see what the story was all about.

When I first saw this manga, I was quite curious. When I read it, I was amazed. How Makoto manages his life is amazing, and even though his reason for doing so is not as good as I'd like, you empathize with him, and you continue to root for him. There is some comedy, as well as as awkward romances and situations.
If you are into gender bender, especially the more mature (not in the perverted sense) way, you would like this manga. Even if you think it wouldn't be your thing, try it anyway. You never know! |
