I am not very fond of emotional animes, but with Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, it's different. Each episodes sent me to an emotional roller coaster ride, and it wasn't unpleasant. It's a gentle kind of sadness that really touched me even after I finished watching the whole anime.
I like the smooth animation during the first half of the anime, and the OST of the anime is very good too. I like how realistic the story is, and how the characters developed. My least favorite character is Tsubaki.

I got across Hataraku Maou-sama by looking for Animes similar to Working!!, one way or another they may be similar but just a tad bit IMHO.
Either way, I enjoyed the anime quite well. It's funny and I watched the whole series in one day (which means I find it interesting). The only problem I have is that I get annoyed with the character called Chiho. I find her character irrelevant same goes with her bust line. But that is just my opinion though...(I would rate higher if she was not there.) That said, I recommend this anime for those who are looking for nothing serious. |
