Well let me start off by saying I put every other anime on hold and binged this whole series in a day or maybe 2 1/2, COVID times don't blame me lol. I was watching Yowamushi pedal, the new season of My Romantic Comedy SNAFU, kind of Re:zero's new season but did stop to watch the new episode. I stopped and was so engrossed in this anime I forgot to do my course work and totally have become obsessed with wanting a Season 4.
I want to start first with what I think was the main thing I loved about this show.
Taichi... I mean the character
...
development, I never felt so many mixed emotions about characters or more like I rarely do. Yes the musical numbers get me sometimes and the sad scenes of other animes, but one thing I rarely see is these shonen animes really doing any proper character development. Like I will be honest I watched almost 800 episodes of One Piece and its not even a tenth as good as this was in the first season with character development. When we are introduced to the characters Taichi, Chihaya and Arata, we see this good at everything elementary school cool kid(6th grader) Taichi, Chihaya is the tomboy who is loud, an airhead, and says whatever comes to her head, Michelangelo's the one whos always cool, sorry wrong show. Arata is the quiet kid whos bullied for being country folk, but who has this amazing talent for a very seemingly boring sport Karuta. After this we see Taichi and Chihaya work together in the anime trope of making a club and Arata who is absent for a lot of it in this season is going and living his life(not that he's not a gem as well) as Tai and especially Chihaya tries to bring him back to the world that brought her to him and brought the three of them together.
As the cast grows we get connected to each of the characters, whether is Oe, Nishida, and Tsumoto. They all grow and every one of them is this amazing 3d character that has their difficulties and reasons, and losses, and victories. Wow, they are all beautiful characters even every single competition in a match is a beauty.
Now I must apologies for that essay
STORY
I think I watched a youtube somewhere say this is a hard show to sell to get your friends to watch. Example: Hey bro that new episode of {generic shonen} with the super 6 demon attack
Me: yeah man but I saw this really good anime about a card game
Friend: well I will see you tomorrow
The story is what I would like to say, is not as much about Karuta, but as it is the relations, and the growth that the cast has through this seemingly easy-going card game. I really think it would be hard to do a lot of sports with the meaning and depth that Karuta allows. We follow these 2 friends work together to build a Karuta club 1. to keep the dream alive of Chihiya who wants to do Karuta 100% 2. To meet again with arata(both mostly Chihiya's goals)
She is usually the push but as the story grows we notice the people who once followed behind Chihaya, especially Taichi begins growing closer and closer to Kruta through trial and error, defeat, and victory. Though its an understatement to call it a Karuta anime, yes the characters focus on that, more than the sport its all about keeping their new family together and struggling in the difficult world while keeping true to yourself.
ART
The art is gorgeous especially for the fact that this anime is not even that popular.

Okay I cried so what! You wanna fight bro!
Well with all that aside this quartine and the sad situation regarding covid-19, really hasn't affected me emotionally but what has is this show. Well the reality is it very simple in a premise a child raised as a tool of war finding her place in society after war. It's not unique, it is not different, but yet the directors and author are able to pull so many emotions out through this film.
I never watched this thinking it was called "Violent Evergarden" probably some steampunk action anime, yeah I was interested but I never got to
...
watch it until now. I think this is one of the best anime I watched in a while and it deserves a thorough break down I believe.
Story:
For starters this storyline of a war machine, an outsider, someone who doesn't know anything who is full of trauma trying to come to society and live in it. It's not new but the way it is used in this story is amazing. I loved how they played on her life as a war tool (no this is not azur lane) and how Gilbert took her in and raised her like a daughter while still being on the front lines. The sadness and her constantly trying to understand this idea of "Love" which thankfully is not repeated every ep makes this show a emotional roller coaster.
Music:
Nothing much to say it is as good as you would expect from this anime, I did see one review say that the music was too much and amateurish, but I found it helped play on the heavy emotions. I think they used it well even if it was played alot but when it was used in some scenes it was amazing.
Art:
Like come on it was fantastic, but tbh it stopped being that shocking after the first ep, they used it well. I wonder how they still had money left after that art work.
Characters:
Well none of them where dolls for sure, they all had there own unique characteristics, but violet herself is very enjoyable. You can feel her pain and her straightforward character is done well as you see that she has nothing to hide and its clear when she is growing. The trauma that Violet, Cluadia, Gil's bro all have is slowly taken away as Violet goes out and grows from it. The other characters are almost always well especially that you see some of them only in one 20 minutes long ep, they are some of the best I have seen.
I liked the characters and felt them sometimes.
Enjoyment:
I think I have gotten a little tired sometimes of the regular Shonen anime and these are always a good change of pace, though I wasn't expecting the FEELS like I did.
I would recommend it and binge-watching can greatly reduce the water and sodium content of your body. It is a show I think that needs to be savored and sometimes I feel like this streaming service and easy access to all episodes is nice but waiting for the next episode always has another feeling.
I loved it and I hope this helped

Not everyone is gonna agree with me here but luckly anime is a very very subjective thing even though it seems most or all of us gravitate towards certain things we want in anime. I will just say straight up this show is very personal and just how I love Barakumon I love these shows that focus on hard work, effort, struggle, inspiring, and it just makes you want to not waste your time so this review is very bias.
I really dont have to make a comment on the art its perfect for this type of show and sets the atmosphere well. I like how
...
it feels bright and even in the dark scenes the lighting gives off that they are moving forward and with them its not ever a give up mentality. The art and lighting is not boring as in many slice of lifes where the color adds a sense of being monotone. Its a happy story and should have happy art.

One piece but very rushed supporting characters and just oaky and nice to watch until you get tired while getting yelled at by some grey haired teen.
The show doesn't feel to me like those shonen we want like Boku no Hero and some clasics we have grow up eith in the earlier 2000s. It rushes alot and the jokes fall flat and feel like when somebody random says a joke about you and its funny but if a friend said it that would be hilarious. Its tough to connect tehy don't feel real and i have to leave relapsing into anime addiction bye.

Damn
That's one way to describe Boko No Hero Academia and just how amazing this show is. The show is another Shonen show in a unique world that is introduced to us in such beautiful way. The characters are good and the their reasons are good as well. The show has been good last 2 seasons and is seeming to catch up to itself in the newer episodes of this season. The season started out rough but came back with a Detroit Smash and there is some awesome reasons for that
1st and most important ENJOYMENT:
If you can't enjoy a anime no matter how amazing
...
the art, sound, characters, and setting it ain't worth mentioning it. Boku No Hero Academia(BNHA for short) just kills with the enjoyment factor. I can see why we love Shonen stories so much and why they are so popular in the anime world. The anime's we have seen on our Saturday cartoons or otherwise have probably been a Shonen for the most of us. Why? Because we love heroes and who doesn't they just are so fun to watch. This show plays on this in the most direct way in a society of heroes, where a group of kids are trying their best to enter the society to defeat crime and stop any chance for evil or corruption to over take their Hero Society. The kids have things behind them and things ahead of them that they want to accomplish and fix. The enjoyment you get from seeing characters go all the way out to get to there goal and be brought down and try to get up and just being a hero is just a joy you gotta love.
2.Story
I kinda explained that but this season specially and if you haven't watched the show technically
🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑 {!!!!! SPOILER !!!!! }🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑🛑
The UA students get together after All Might is reminded of the Villain with Quirk All for One and Stain ahs become a symbol of what the hero society should look like. Stain becomes a pathway for villains ether just looking for an organization or agreeing with Stain point of View that All Might is the only real hero. The season story starts of kinda eeeeh... Its pretty much a filler before they go to the camp with little to no story development (its not a slice of life or Gintama thats episodic as hell). Then they come back with a curve ball and take your All Might away. It moves to a more tense environment and allows you to get to know more about class B and their characters but also lets you see where some of the class A characters got better and how they have matured more. Yes I saw some reviews say the story hasn't developed and this season is not moving forward, but I have to disagree as it allowed Tomura's promise at end of happy season 2 end on a dark note.
Not only that is allowed for the League of Villains to change the direction everyone had planned for themselves. It really getting tense.
Okay enough of that 3rd Characters
The characters have not in these first 8 episodes changed dramatically and nobody is expecting that, because if they did then this isn't the same show and is a fake. Starting with class B we are introduced to a host of characters and seen that they are not just others, but are characters who are willing to put down their lives for people and are just like the heroes from class A. They come out not in a deep fashion but enough for us to understand that they are who they are and that there is a lot more to know about them. Other then that the pussycats don't really have deep development but it makes senses because their position, but they still are important to the story and the kids. We can see how Aizawa sensai is still human, but also why he is a pro-teacher at UA and a hero. We see grape head is still scared and not sure about his quirk and how Momo has become less cowardly and can think on her feet. Deku feels losing someone he could save and at the same time trying to show what a hero is to a kid and becoming more of a man then a child. Also we see the hero side of Kacchan (and if you haven't go to the season you gotta see) "Dont come deku". Tokoyami and dark shadow not much but there is some development. There is a hint to almost all the characters in class A moving forward or changing because of the run in with villains and the various experiences each had. Though its too early to tell how much they really have developed because there still is 16 episodes this season.
Art
Good as always and lots of effort put into many scenes though action scenes seem to take most of the budget which is fine with me 👌👌.
Sound: Yup 👌
over all 9/10 because of the wacky start but its 👌👌👌👌👌 and 💯💯💯

As someone who not only watched the show and the live action, but also the new live action including the crappy season about hong kong or something (except the movie) I think its well time to review.
Okay so be ready to get emotional over a virgin who technically should be fired for sexual misconduct with a student. A hero in his own sense Great Teacher Onizuka is a silly heartfelt slice of life with a teacher who really cares.
GTO is nothing but a thug teacher, the ruff teacher who gotta work his students into shape and in the end there is nothing but love.
...
A common teacher trope, but man its done so right.
GTO though over the top most of the time shows that a student teacher relationship ain't just in the class and during school functions, but it shows how important a teacher should be. Yeah teachers get crap salaries but teaching ain't about money because all those kids gonna be makin money for you.
Beside the well made ops and the tears you will shed, just go and start this show and 9.96/10 you will fall in love with this slice of life that is downtoearth and gansta

Okay okay calm down I'm really am not a fan of the video game anime genre. Yes I did enjoy Overlord and like Gun Gal Online.
This show is nothing amazing or original, the show is simple and sometimes seems like there wasn't much development and people just stick on. I binged this show in 2 or 3 days and I enjoyed it honestly.
This show falls into the its not that good but you can enjoy it in a binge. The environment is not all that unique except its not an other world its their world.
You know now a days not many anime's are
...
good and the best ones are just above okay. I have struggled to find good animes the past few years and most of them have just been cont. of other shows that are already good. This show is about average and is not one of those good animes this was just kinda fun to watch.
People criticizing animes and I really think it is great and alot of the time authors wont improve unless you tell them what they made sucks. The show has much to improve on and for character development of some key players you needed a whole other season on the Female Knight Ais, who saved Bell.
The way of the show is a quickly built harem around a 14 year old with a pery granpa who raised him and died. He is innocent, nice, and well liked and cared for by everyone. The jokes are not necessarily fresh common boob jokes and pervy jokes. This show needs a lot of work and the only reason I gave it a seven was because I enjoyed the show enough to watch it through usaully i leave anime that really annoying and dumb after the first few minutes.
I will say this to end as this show doesn't need a through review about loli, neko, or opai, but i dropped this show the first time it came out. I was annoyed by the early and direct boobs in face early start to the show. I am no fan of that genre "Boob in Face" but i watched it this time not being surprised or amazed i mussed out but only watched it because i was in the mood for some magic anime and crunchyroll is having a give away so i was like why not. So don't watch this show if you can't enjoy it its not the best and very generic but its a show you watch while waiting for new ep of steins gate 0 or Legend of galactic heroes

Wagnari just a normal family restaurant job with some normal short, sister, good looking chef, missing manager looking for his wife, and the schedule manger being op and having to be the manger. Its natural these things happen working at a family restaurant.
The show is funny and chill like a slice of life that isnt taking itself to serious. No i'm not saying its got gintama, belzebub, or tom and jerry humor like an endless vortex, but it makes you laugh some. This is not an amazing anime, but I wished the second season continued with the exact same characters as it would be
...
nice to see the story continued and the romances continued. That doesn't make it a bad show as it has you itching for more each episode. Like most shows like this (Hanada-kun, Katori-san, and other chill SOL anime) it has no story really early on and each episode you learn a few major things about a certain character and information comes about who they really are.
This needs to be continued but I will post this here for the time being

FMA is a great show and so far re watching it as I have forgotten all about it from when I was a child reminds me of all the legends of 90s anime like Cow Boy BeBob and Trigun. The tone is very similar and this tone seemed common in 90s animes that where serious this includes Rurini Kenshin (Samurai X). The heroes are amazing and the story starts off without a real formal introduction of the characters. The first 2 episodes are not all that unique and watching this again my opinions of this show might change but one thing for sure this is
...
an anime you can tell is good from the onset.

I have to agree with people who are saying this show really isn't that great it doesn't have much to offer, but I had to change my opinion on that after 5 or 6 episodes. Watching this at the beginning I was afraid this is gonna be like all those other crappy animes I was watching when I started this show. I even went along patiently giving the show chances saying if the next episode I waited a week for suck your done for. Well look here I finished the whole first season and was itching to watch the next as I remembered the show
...
today. Let me tell you why I thought this wasn't a trash anime.
Ussually people split up in to categories but here it is
Story: 8
Art & Character:9
Sound:10 most animes pass this in flying colors
Enjoyment: 10
Overall: Wait till the end
This show is not the best mech anime I have seen and I will say "All Hail Britannia" and you can get what I'm saying. The story is cliche with ancient warrior protecting his duty from the time of the samurai. Though I am split on 9 or 8 on the story I still believed it was made well. The Art was good though I do not like CGI style that is prevalent in these type of animes with robots or big monsters. I would prefer a Gundum style or Code Geass art,but this anime seems a little cheaper than those. The characters I kind of like and they are not annoying and not to bad as high schoolers expect I don't know how all the same classmates get chosen, but whatever its an anime.
All that aside to get to the jist; this anime had me wanting to see the next episode even though my head was saying this show isn't amazing. I began to enjoy it and when the last episode of the first season was released I did not know I would have to wait. The show starts rough yet as the episodes develop it polishes itself gives both a lighthearted friendly anime while on the other side is a serious thing the characters must face. I believe this show was made well and deserves to be congratulated for its good work. This show is not amazing, this show doesn't suck, but this show is able to keep you hooked on. I could care less for all the other categories, but they all give this anime the final verdict of an......
BIG FAT 8.(or 7.5-8ish)
Please help me improve my reviews,
Thank you
Sincerely Tatakin
