The story has oh so much potential. I could see the idea spanning hundreds of episodes. But lets hope it doesn't. We want this story is short, important bursts to keep the momentum flowing and I think it does that. Truly the palette is a bit white-washed but that's not that bad right?
Enter the powerful and calculating Sora (brother), the quite and unassuming Shiro (sister) and the ditsy but heart-of-gold Stephanie (slave?). For me, this was a surprise of a century. Did anyone really expect depth from an anime about a delinquent teacher? No.
Fair enough, the art and sound suffer due to its age but it gives a retro feel which just works. The story is rather nondescript as well but throw in the most out-of-this-world teacher into the mix and you have screen gold. Strong themes are judiciously spaced throughout meaning if you're looking for something tame, you're in the wrong neighbourhood. But there is an air about our disheveled (and at the same time ripped) Onizuka that just speaks volumes to almost any type of person ...

Welcome into the world of songs and gushing love. Clearly the direction of this anime is to satisfy the hole that the lonely anime viewer experiences.
The art style is neat and unadventurous, there are no huge fight scenes or tricky trickery to be had. And the story? Typical fish out of water following love story. That said, the character breadth is truly outstanding and I feel that they were wasted in some part. We have two strong and relatable protagonists, Nike and Livi and what a pair these two make.
