I finished this movie just now and didn't think I would love this movie so much though I knew who Satoshi Kon was. I'm amazed by the way it started to finish. I didn't get distracted for a second the whole time. What a movie!

Story: The story is about three different but same kindhearted homeless people who found an abundant child on their way. There starts the beautiful journey of what they need to do with her. The story gets more interesting the more they are going to explore Tokyo city. After watching this film for some time, you will realise how depressing and sad ... their life is. It gets so heartbreaking sometimes. The creator, Satoshi Kon, does a good job hiding it with comedy which made it far better. It felt as if God Himself wanted to help them from their despair. So He sent an angel in the form of a child as a saviour to them. They get extremely lucky sometimes. It gives a spiritual aspect to it.

Animation: The animation of this film is not as superior as we have nowadays. We are talking about an anime movie made in 2003! Even though it's this old, the animation is far better than anyone can expect. I don't think anyone will have any problem watching it.

Sound: The sound of this anime was never the main attention. While watching it, I didn't feel any absence of sound in it. It was good the way it was.

Characters: Every character in this movie was intriguing to watch. No character had more screen time than the other they needed. It was simply perfect. They all had a story of their own. They had real problems. Their hopelessness was visible to me as an audience. They made mistakes and they suffered a lot. Now, they need forgiveness. They want to be happy. Everyone should be able to relate to them.

Overall, it was great to watch. Everyone can watch this movie and have a blast time. It is not a movie for younger people as it has uncensored nudity and violence. If you are in the right age, I would highly recommend this anime film to you.

One day, having nothing to do I discovered this manga. It was the 2nd mature manhwa that I finished at that time. It made me fall in love with this genre. After finishing this, I read many mature mangas and manhwas along the way yet none was as good as this.

Art: I loved the coloured artwork of this manhwa a lot. It was visually pleasing. Any reader would enjoy the experience they will be having when reading this.

Story: Most of the mature mangas or manhwas don't care about the storyline. They produce whatever and let the reader fap and drop it after some ... chapters. But surprisingly "Drug Candy" has an amazing storyline. It starts like any other mature manhwas out there. But it starts to get better and more intense. And by the time you are in the last chapter and finish it, you will feel hollow inside your heart. It will be painful, sad and for most people traumatizing in many ways.

Character: This is the most controversial side of the manhwa. Many didn't like the main character for being too dense. It made readers angry. But these characters made the story as they are. I love it the way it is.

Overall, I would highly recommend it. The character's development was great. If you are into mature plot-heavy manga, give it a try. Don't judge it for the huge amount of sex scenes. You will most likely never forget about it after finishing it.
