A well writen work, with a realy interesting conzept... but sadly way to short.
The final chapter screams: "We're getting cancelled, so here is the end"
There seems to be a small disconection between characters and story. While the main characters all stood out the side characters where just put in to be tossed out a moment later. Because of this the world that was build around all that did not feel like it matters in the slightest.
The characters and effects where all realy well drawn, but the background work was nearly non existand. Just a great number of random background effect staples.

Until around Chapter 90 it was a solid read with a good build up.
But from there it seems that the Author had no idea where he wanted to move with the story. So he did put everything in that came to mind. The Fantasy Story became a SciFy, and the woman that seemed to become the girlfriend of the protagonist no longer showed up at all. For the last 20 chapters even logic was thrown out the window to make possible whatever the Author had in mind, even if it made no sense whatsoever. Everything up to Chater 90 is a 8 Everything after is a 5 |
