I don't usually write reviews for animes but I just really have to write one for this.
I have already watched this when I was in middle school. I was 9 or 10 back then, and every time I look back to the memory of watching this anime, I really smile because the memory I have about this series is so good. I remember going straight home after school just to watch every episode of this anime. Yamato Nadeshiko Sichi Henge never failed to make my cousins and I laugh every time we watched it. I still remember that I was the one who enjoyed

it so much because my personality and attitude is much closer to Sunako than my other cousins, but although they didn't find themselves in the character of Sunako, they enjoyed the series just as much!
2013, when I began watching anime series again, I thought of rewatching Yamato Nadeshiko because it brings so much good memories, but then I thought that my standard in anime especially the way it is drawn and animated has increased. I thought that maybe my taste in anime has changed since most of the animes I watched were all modern, and the appearance of the characters has changed. I thought I would not enjoy it as much as I did before, and forcing myself to watch it while momentarily comparing it to the modern animes would ruin my memory of it. But I was wrong. It all changed when I began rewatching it.
2016, my classmate gave me a copy of the whole episodes of Yamato Nadeshiko, and she told me she has re watched it and enjoyed it so much. After watching Ao Haru Ride,, I decided to finally rewatch Yamato Nadeshiko. AND LORD ALMIGHTY, I REALIZED THAT NO MATTER HOW "OLD" YOU MAY THINK IT IS, IT IS STILL FAR BETTER THAN THE MODERN ANIMES. LIKE GOD, I WAS SO WRONG WHEN I SAID THAT COMPARING IT TO MODERN ANIMES WOULD RUIN MY MEMORY OF IT. IT DID NOT! In fact, I began loving Yamato Nadeshiko even more! Most of the modern animes I've watched are stark, and have many "silences". Silence is what I call those scenes and parts that are quite awkward and are kind of boring/uninteresting/unnecessary/irrelevant. But in Yamato Nadeshiko, there are no silences! The way it is dubbed in Japanese is soooo freaking amazing! I like the way the characters yell HAHA I always wonder how they recorded that. EVERY EPISODE IS HILARIOUS! Although it is a Shōjo anime, everyone would really enjoy it! Adult or not, it would really make you laugh! The music that they used in the scenes are also appropriate and I could tell that they were deliberately selected haha Also paired with the scenes in the anime, they are really funny! The way it was animated and drawn is also amazing! I always think if the animator/artist ever got tired of drawing/animating them! This is really a UNIQUE, FUNNY, and AMAZING anime!
I remember my teacher telling me that what makes a great film is the things that it leaves its viewers. And I tell you what, when I rewatched this, I frequently smile because even though it has been around 8-9 years ago, I still remember most of the episodes, as well as the values it taught me. :)
