Reactions to Kill la Kill are very ranged. You love it, you hate it, or you find it decent. How you feel about Kill la Kill really depends on what kind of person you are, and what kind of anime you're into.

Story: 5 - Mediocre
Sentient clothes. Yup, you heard me. Ryuko comes to a strange town in search for clues to find her father's killer and ends up finding a strange, sentient outfit that she ends up wearing. Whenever she bleeds on it, the clothing transforms into a super skimpy outfit that grants her amazing power. With it she is able to fight students who ... are equipped with Goku uniforms, outfits that grant them strange powers and can only be destroyed by her special weapon which has the power to cut the strong threads which hold the outfits together.
A great anime, but the concept is ridiculous. However, this won't necessarily ruin it for you. While the concept is ridiculous, the delivery is... well, ridiculous, and it works. It ends up getting fairly serious toward the end, though.
Despite the ridiculous nature, they manage to add quite a few interesting plot points and an overall good plot, loose as it may be.

Art: 6 - Fair
I was actually really surprised when I found out the Kill la Kill was a fairly new anime, having started airing in October 2013 and ended March 2014. The artwork looked really "old-fashioned", so to speak. It's not your typical anime style. Rather than every character looking great, some of them look completely ridiculous and the artwork probably isn't something you're used to. While I was skeptical of it, I got used to it pretty quickly, and it isn't a deal breaker or anything.

Sound: 7 - Good
I looooove the music. Great theme songs and character themes. Voice actors were chosen very well, with one or two I may have changed. Overall good.

Character: 8 - Very good
Now, your opinion of the characters will be very dependent on your taste. Some will love them, some will hate them. You have Mako, your typical overly-hyperactive and slightly ditzy school girl. She will drive you crazy or make the show for you. Ryuko, you're badass main character, who you will either enjoy or find to be too powerful and fairly annoying. Satsuki, a seemingly emotionless, bitchy character (somewhat stereotypical at first, to be honest). Then of course you have your perverted characters, the people who enjoy seeing Ryuko in her skimpy outfit and have the constant nose bleeds whenever they see something they find sexy. A classic trope. Other characters are quite original, but honestly, the cliche'd characters work pretty damn well.

Enjoyment: 8 - Very good
This anime is very funny. The plot is something that you can barely take seriously, so the show corresponds: it barely takes it self seriously, either. Ryuko thinks everything going on is completely ridiculous and can hardly believe what's going on. The madness of it all coupled in with Mako's hilarious input is brilliant, and totally captivating.
Most people enjoy Kill la Kill, but if you don't like ridiculous anime that are chaotic and all over the place, then THIS SHOW IS NOT FOR YOU.

Overall: 8 - Very good
Not the best anime, but I love it, and it's definitely going on my favorites. This anime isn't bad, nor is it worthy of a 10, in my opinion. It's really all about preferences and what sort of thing you enjoy.
Kill la Kill will either be worth every minute or a waste of your time.

Story - 6:
Rather than starting exactly where we left off in Shakugan no Shana II, Shakugan no Shana III takes place a while after the events of its prequel, though it's been about a year since the start of the entire series.
We find out that Yuji chose neither of his love interests; not Yoshida nor Shana, having disappeared the night he was to meet one of them. We soon find out why; the reason that makes this story truly unique: the hero has become the villain.
I've never seen anything like this in an anime, nor can I recall seeing it in anything I've seen or ... read or in any video games I've played. It's an interesting twist, one which quickly draws you in. Our former protagonist, current antagonist fighting against the girl he loves, and all the while, you're wondering whether or not this is actually what he wants, or if he is under some sort of mind control.
Unlike previous seasons, anyone interested in this season should know that it doesn't focus on romance as much as the previous ones. Well, it does, but it's hard to develop romantic relations when you're fighting against your only love interest, so don't expect much. They are already in love, so it's more of a matter of trying to convince each other to join the other side.
I must say that the series, while twenty-four episodes, seems to drag on at a very slow pace. It seems like two days go by over a period of ten episodes, and that most episodes seem to just be fighting scenes, albeit with conversation going on the midst of it. It's either talk, fight, or flashback, talk fight or flashback, and the fighting especially can cause you to lose interest. While the talking can be boring at times, it can also get interesting, especially ones between the to main characters, Yuji and Shana, though it can get somewhat repetitive after a while. Still, if you stick with the plot, it's worth watching, in my opinion.

Art - 7:
The artwork, as usual, is very good. The humanoid characters are all drawn well, though as usual, an aspect of it annoys me. This is one of those anime where the characters never change clothing. While some anime, mainly ones where the characters have to where school uniforms everyday or have little resources, can get away with it, this one has a hard time doing so. While it's not a huge aspect that takes away from the series, it always sticks out to me. Not to mention Wilhelmina's out of place maid outfit and Shana's tendency to wear her school uniform even though she doesn't go to school anymore.
In addition to our regular anime characters, humans and all that, there are a lot of Tomogara, demon-like creatures, this season, and while some of the main ones are humanoid in form, others [especially insignificant extras] are demonic looking. One eye, reptilian-looking. There is a large variety in the appearance of the Tomogara, and it's interesting to see.
The Serpent of the Ritual, especially, proves to have an abnormal form, and looks more three dimensional and computer generated than other characters, causing it to stick out, as it's no doubt supposed to. It looks somewhat out of place, but it works, to an extent.

Sound - 7:
As usual, the opening and endings are by Mami Kawada and KOTOKO, this time with the addition of ALTIMA, which performed the first OP.
Songs throughout the show are often repeated, especially at climactic parts, and while it works, it wouldn't have hurt to include some different songs. They only seemed to do this in the last episode, where they brought back the second season OP near the end of the show.

Character - 6:
While Yuji's character change is interesting, it's also doubtlessly abrupt. Character relations are interesting, for lack of a better word, but I feel some are left with poor conclusions, not giving enough closure. There were great new characters, but we seemed to lose track of them all, and their fates were vague in description or intent.
We seemed to be focusing on so many different characters at once that we never really get to know them all that well.

Enjoyment - 8:
While elements were overall less than stellar, this series will always have a special place in my heart, and I kept with it no matter what. I laughed, I cried; I lived, I loved (okay, so maybe not the last one). I feel like most fans of the series will enjoy it, but not if you're the kind of person who is only in it for the romance. If that's the case, then you shouldn't bother with the series at all.

Overall - 6:
Shakugan no Shana, while enjoyable, has always been a fairly good series, but nothing epic. I enjoy it, as always, but if looking at it from an unbiased point of view, enjoyment and emotional attachment aside, I can only give it a six. Worth watching, but not something I'm going to add to my favorites. A great experience that I highly recommend for any fans of the series who aren't just in it for the romance. While it might not be the best series, you'll likely enjoy it.

Itou Makoto has a crush on the shy Katsura Kotonoha, but he doesn’t even have the courage to speak to her. When his classmate Saionji Sekai finds out, she offers/forces Makoto to let her help them get together. Sekai eventually succeeds, and when Makoto asks how he could ever repay her, she kisses him, saying that’s enough. Sekai runs onto the train when it arrives, leaving a stunned ... Makoto wondering what in the world just happened. Does Sekai have feelings for him? And could he actually have feelings for her, too?

School Days starts off as a cute little love triangle, but things quickly turn sour as the show progresses. With great animation, music, voice acting, characters and plot, School Days is quite an interesting experience.

In most anime that have love triangles, you can easily guess who the main character will end up with. However, in this anime you can never quite tell.

In most anime that have love triangles, whoever didn’t end up with the main character might be disappointed, but they know that their broken heart will heal over time. But that doesn’t always happen. And School Days shows just that.

If you love the original Shugo Chara!, this anime is NOT for you.

If you remember LuLu DeMorcerf, from Shugo Chara!! Doki, she was a filler character, along with the whole plot behind her. Shugo Chara! Party! is also a filler, but it is a very BAD filler.

Not only, by making Rikka, do they get contradict things that were explained earlier in the series, but they ruin the original plot from the manga. It has NOTHING to do with what happened in the manga! It's completely different. This wouldn't be as bad if it was actually ENTERTAINING! Not only that, but over half the ... show is full of cosplayers who are also terrible actresses, and a corny, poorly drawn cartoon. Even when I skipped the cosplaying and corny cartoon, I was still very disappointed. Way to ruin a great anime, and manga.

I tried to force myself to watch it, at least until I got past the episode about my favorite character, but it was so awful, I couldn't even manage that.

They might as well get the manga, rip it apart, stomp on it, throw it in a fire, and when the fire goes out, dance on the ashes. That is how much respect they showed the manga.
