As I mentioned in the manga review, this anime deserves a lot more attention than it has had so far. Everything, from the story to the characters, is so well balanced and portrayed with a relaxed yet exciting narrative pace: sometimes funny, sometimes exciting, sometimes touching, sometimes frustrating; all the emotions that the protagonists and the characters around them feel are so realistic that even those who follow their stories can only feel them in turn. A truly complete story, which involves you and takes you inside, leads you to cheer on characters chasing their dreams. And there are so many characters in this story, ... but not a single one of them is left behind: each has its role and its own importance and of each of them we come to know thoughts, motivations, feelings, desires, dreams; there is nothing that is superfluous. I really hope that one day we will be able to watch the adaptation of the rest of the manga as well, because the strongest emotions are yet to come!

A truly complete story, which involves you and takes you inside; one that, once finished, leaves you with a sense of nostalgia and loneliness because you miss ... those characters with whom you have followed, step by step, emotion after emotion, the path towards their dream. Yes, there are so many characters in this story, but not a single one of them is left behind: each has its role and its own importance and of each of them we come to know thoughts, motivations, feelings, desires, dreams. You cannot feel like a stranger, but part of the story itself.

I've been watching anime for almost 40 years and I've never seen another with so many annoying characters all together! The normal dialogues do not exist, all the characters speak yelling and the gags are always the same repeated over and over, making the episodes extremely predictable and boring.
The plot itself has no substance: it starts from a cliché (two characters who aim at the same goal and are great friends/rivals), it is based on other clichés, repeated not only from arc to arc but also from episode to episode, without going deeper almost nothing in the world in which the events take place! ... When they have to explain something, they throw in a couple of boring flashbacks here and there, breaking up the main narrative even at moments that should be highlights.
I keep watching it because I want to understand if later it can become more interesting, maybe add a little substance or at least become a little less annoying but, being already more than the first half so repetitive and predictable, I guess it continues on the same line. I hope I'm wrong, otherwise it was just a big waste of time.
