This was an absolute masterpiece!

As with the first season, the story, characters, and visuals were stunning. The characters are to die for, they're all unique and interesting in their own ways. The visuals are just as beautiful as in the first season, and the colour and lighting used were effectively utilized. And in this one, the pacing and storytelling were absolutely perfect, too. The conflict in this season was so dramatic and intense, every moment was spent in anticipation for what would come next. Nothing felt awkward or forced in the narrative and the conclusion of the season was just, *chefs kiss* perfection (will surely ...

It was excellent in all aspects! The story, characters, and visuals; all amazingly done.

Yuukoku no Moriarty featured beautiful visuals, especially noteworthy was the creative use of colour and lighting which was very symbolic and created a compelling atmosphere.
The characters and story were deeply interwoven, and the characterisation was *chefs kiss*.
The story was extremely hooking and I couldn't click on the next episode button fast enough; I had to know what happened next!

Do you want to be even more depressed, traumatized, and mentally unwell than you already are?

Then this is the perfect anime for you, friend.

In all seriousness, this one is pretty heavy. Lots of graphic violence, disturbing scenes, non-explicit sex scenes; it's quite the ride. The action is somewhat hard to follow at first, but there's a clear plot and the main characters are well-written. The story and main character are extremely interesting, and Angelo is such an intriguing specimen who hooked my attention from the very start and kept a firm grip until the end.
It also had a very good ending in my opinion, ...

10/10 plot, character development, character relationships, and overall themes. A moving story of trauma, emotional baggage, music, forgiveness, love, and acceptance. Good song choices, too. The characters were fleshed out and unique, and the relationships had so much flavour; it was great. Learning about the characters, especially Mafuyu, was really heartbreaking and it was so well-done how bits and pieces were revealed about them as the story went along.

If you like a touching romance with lots of angst and cute moments scattered in between in a modern high school setting, you'll probably enjoy this.
All in all, it's a '10/10 would recommend' from me!!
