FLCL is a very wierd anime. Watch two episodes, no wait, 20 minutes, and you have no idea what in the world is happening. Once you finish the series you understand the deep meaning of the anime (SPOILER ALERT), Naota maturing.
FLCL combines comedy, sci-fi, and mecha elements to create a very enjoyable anime. The story is funny, wierd, and even more enjoyable upon re watches (you even understand the deep meanings as well). The wierd camera angles and effects adds to the confusing and "WTH just happened" atmosphere.
