Welcome, I'm pretty new here, but I like to keep a catalogue of what I've watched so far on this site. Here's the rating scales for my anime list.
10 - my favorites
9 - very good
8 - good
7 - OK/not bad
6 - Mid
1 -> 5 - pigshit, but at least there's levels to it.
My scores will be naturally inflated as such, as I don't really follow the conventional "5 is average" scale. Also, I tend to drop shows/movies I don't like, as a normal person would, so for shows scoring 1->3 I am usually just hate-watching. Generally, I'm into most shonens/seinens, ok with isekai's (I think most hover around <8 in ratings though, because most are just dogass), interested in romance (planning on getting into more of those), and I'm a sucker for good adventure animes. Slice of life generally isn't my thing, but I can make exceptions. You can see my favorite animes if you want to check what particularly tickles my fancy. I regularly update my anime list, and much less so the manga list, mainly because I watch anime more than I read manga.
