Honestly I found this very funny and I liked how the show transitioned in the beginning from school life back to adventure and to how megumin met the gucci gang.
Comedy was great, honestly imo the show is definitely underrated and very funny.
Animation was great! It honestly wasnt a let down and I have great hope for the actual season 3 of the show.
Story was well written and while its a different vibe without Kazuma Aqua and Darkness it still hits just right in its own niche. This show really found its place and was well written and well paced. Was it full metal

Note how everyone rating this show has only watched 1-4 episodes. This show seems like a generic awful isekai at first but spoiler, its ironic. Its a funny show about a guy whos just memeing and is trying to be the side character but on the DL hes the MC with his alternate character and he thinks its all acting.

Really funny show that reminded me of Konosuba, worth a watch as long as you dont expect it to have some thicc plot. Its just a comedy and to be honest thats my favorite genre. I say this in most of my reviews but people are too pretentious, like the show is meant to be a gag. For example family guy had no real plot, it was just a comedy but if anime does that same concept we rate it a 6.6?????????? Honestly I really liked season 4 it had awesome world building as usual and it ended in a fantastic battle. Also the twist near the end, which we all saw coming, but not to the extent of it ended up which was really awesome. Overlord s4 was a comedy, horror, world building, adventure show and it was worth the wait. I can only hope season 5 comes in 2024 or even 2025... or if madhouse gets really chill real fast then 2023 but its not in the line up from what I hear.
For the people who hate on this show, yeah CGI was bad ...

Amazes me that people rate this show poorly, the show isn't supposed to be some god tier story like FMA brotherhood or some god tier plot and pacing like Death note. Its supposed to silly, relaxed, and comedic. You watch this show and its OVAs for the characters and the humor, this show is top tier and the only people who can find fault with it are pretentious and literally just want to hate on this show.
Its like hanging out with your friends without a worry in the world, thats how I describe this show, and thats why I love this show.

Okay, so Konosuba became my favorite series, and I havent quite finished it all yet but I love it.
In terms of story.. well its story is just your average isekai tbh, but the point of this is not for the story its about the characters and enjoyment of the series. Konosuba feels like your hanging out with your friends just joking around and making memories, you aren't reading this to follow an amazing story you read it because its fun, relaxing, memorable, enjoyable, and light hearted.
