First, I'm warning you already. If you can't hold out your patience, then don't watch it. It had a slow pace and I can feel others not wanting to watch it every week when it was released. It lacked the first strike for viewers to want to watch it but it's like a treasure buried deep. Not all anime can do it.
I just finished watching it and I say that I watched it out of whim just because I'm curious. I'm not disappointed with the story, in fact I'm amazed enough to consider this a gem. It was really refreshing to watch an anime like

this, not every one would like to see one though. The utopia/dystopia approach played a big role in the anime that would make you think and question things as you watch it. I wouldn't say anything as how the animations worked because it was supposed to be subjective as some of the episodes looked like it came out of nowhere but it added to the spice of the anime.
I wouldn't consider this horror as one of the genre but a psychological one. That's all and enjoy watching.
