I'm just going to keep this short and lazy.
Amazing concept, very poor execution. Unlikable characters, very little plot consistency, writing sometimes falls to baffling levels of terrible.
However, if every part of Mirai Nikki was as good as the beginning and the ending, it could have been great. Sure, some things didn't quite click, but the plot came together at least somewhat cohesively.
Too bad the OVA screwed it up completely
