Rating System:
10: Absolutely amazing anime.
9: Still amazing anime that just didn't appeal to me as much as the 10's for minor reasons.
8: Very good anime that has a couple of apparent flaws or I simply didn't fully enjoy it out of personal taste.
7: Entertaining enough to watch but has a couple of small flaws and maybe one or two big ones that detract from the experience.
6: Entertaining enough to waste some time, but overall not very enjoyable and has low re-watch value.
5: Mediocre anime with very few, if any, unique or redeeming features.
4 and below: Bad anime. Do not watch except out of masochism.
Factors:
Art - Style, detail, motion
Story - Characters, cohesiveness, depth, emotional impact
Music - Style, appropriateness, overall quality
Enjoyment - Sometimes I will give overall bad anime a good score simply because I enjoyed watching it for some unexplainable or stupid reason (IE Star Driver).
The final score is a combination of how much I enjoyed the series and how good the series was based on its individual qualities with different weights assigned to each depending on what kind of show it is.
