I'm not one for massive reviews, so i'm just going to summaries why Boku dake ga Inai Machi ( or ERASED ) got the overall rate I gave it, and where the anime may of gone wrong (If ever so slightly)
Story:
The story for the anime was pretty solid, containing a time travel theme where actions one performs in the past have an impact on the future. It uses this to go deep with a lot of character development and romance themes, building amazing feels towards the characters. I enjoyed seeing him grow as a human in both states of child and adult.
Art:
The art and animation for the anime was good, nothing amazing though. There were some really amazing scenes though, portrayed perfectly. I'll let you find them for yourselves.
Character:
Our main protagonist is Satoru Fujinuma, an average kind of guy, with a not so average ability. He has an ability that allows him to turn time back for certain amounts of time, and can also go forward in time in certain circumstances, however his ability seems to rely on his emotions and want to go forward/back. We learn al ot about him and see him grow among the anime. Other characters worth noting, Airi Katagiri, Number 1 waifu of the anime, basically a kind hearted soul that takes fond to the present Satoru. Akemi Hinazuki, a main focus of Satoru;s attention throughout the anime, and becomes a character that is easy to become fond of. Finally, Sachiko Fujinuma, Satoru's mum, and is easily earns best mum of the year award. I wont spoil the antagonist, but ill give you a hint. Its none of the above :)
Enjoyment:
I know a lot of people didn't enjoy the anime for multiple reasons, one of which it taking a SLIGHTLY different turn from the manga, but i personally loved it. 10/10 for enjoyment easily.
Overall:
The anime had a slight drop at one point, preventing this anime from being perfect. Nothing is perfect. But it was extremely enjoyable and had some of the most engaging and lovable characters I have seen in a while. 8/10, please go watch.
