Spy x family is back with season 2 and its exactly what you'd expect: a good, fun show. No groundbreaking storyline or plot twists, just a comfy show that has fun antics, good bits of comedy, and some cool action scenes here and there. So far not much has happened in the first 3 eps of s2, which is why im rating it an 8 (I gave both parts of s1 a 9), but I can see myself increasing the score as we go on.
Characters: Spy x Family has a great cast. So far season 2 has chosen to focus on the side characters (such
...
as Damian and Yuri), but I expect that we will get more focus on the family (Loid, Yor, and Anya) as their dynamic is the main appeal of the show to me, and many others.
Story: Story is good. Not much to say here. The overarching plot of getting close to the prime minister seems to be progressing at a snail's pace, but despite this, I do feel like we're moving forward
Animation: The animation quality is top tier, just like it was in season 1. The studios that are behind Spy x Family are studios WIT and Cloverworks, so this level of quality is more or less to be expected.
OST: The OST is always solid. I'll never go out of my way to listen to it on my own time, but it works well inside of the show and fits the vibe well.
OP/ED: The op and ed this season are REALLY good. Possibly my favorite so far. Ado performing the opening "Kura Kura" was an absolute treat, as she is easily one of my favorite female J-artists. And Vaundy doing the ending was also a pleasant surprise, they both killed it.
Overall I'm giving Spy x Family season 2 an 8/10 so far but I may increase my score by the end of the season if we get more action and screentime with Loid, Yor, and Anya respctively.

Kengan Ashura is back with the first part of its second season, and it starts off directly from where we left off in season 1 part 2. Round 1 of the Kengan Annihilation tournament has just concluded, and round 2 is about to start. The fights that happen in this part include:
- Wakatsuki vs Julius
- Sekibayashi vs Muteba
- Saw-Paing vs Rei
- Kuroki vs Setsuna
- Hatsumi vs Bando
- Agito vs Kaolan
All these fights were very good, but my favorite was definitely Agito vs Kaolan. The stakes were very high, and even though the animation is fully CGI, the fight looked extremely smooth and clean. Admittedly, the
...
CGI is a bit jarring outside of the actual fight scenes, but hey, its a battle tournament series, so as long as the fights look good, that's really all that matters. The story is pretty standard, but enjoyable. The characters are also good, my favorite is definitely the MC, Tokita Ohma. He has a great, overconfident personality, but he can back up all his trash talk and claims. He took a backseat for most of this part, because in his previous fight last season he suffered injuries that caused him to fall into a coma (don't worry though, he comes back in the final episode). Other characters are quite interesting too, like Agito, Hatsumi, Wakatsuki, etc. The soundtrack is solid all around, it fits in well with the show. And the OP and ED by SiM and BAND-MAID respectfully are both absolute bangers. Overall, whether you're a fan of the Kengan Ashura anime, manga, or both, you will definitely end up enjoying this season a lot if you liked the previous seasons.

As of right now there are only 4 chapters out for "Straying Warrior Nagata Kabi: Gourmet GO!", but so far it's good. I'm a pretty big fan of Nagata Kabi's works, I loved Lesbian Experience with Loneliness and Solo Exchange Diary, I definitely think those were her best works, but Alcoholic Escape From Reality and Wandering Warrior Existence were quite good too (even if I didn't like them as much as the previous 2). In Lesbian Experience With Loneliness, Nagata Kabi briefly touches on her eating disorder, but doesn't go very in depth into it. This entry focuses on that aspect of her life and
...
it quite intriguing. I truly think Nagata Kabi is a very interesting woman, and her life is honestly fascinating to read about. Really my only complaint with this is that it's on hiatus, we don't know when it's coming back, and it's so short to the point where once you end up reading all 4 chapters you're going to end up wanting more.

This is real good. Like legit. Isekai Danyuu: Shirudanyuu ga Isekai Tensei shite Ero Chishiki Full Katsuyou de Musou Danyuu ni Naru Hanashi (or Pornstar Isekai for short) is a manga about a JAV actor getting reincarnated into a fantasy world after getting hit by a truck. I know what you're thinking, boo-hoo, another generic isekai reincarnation story. Trust me, this one is different. What I like about this manga is that our MC uses his skills from the real world and actively applies them to make the various actresses satisfied. The artwork is very good and detailed too, there are some particularly hot scenes
...
(this artist has a very similar artstyle to uenoryoma, those of y'all cultured folk know what's up). The waifus are great and there is a wide variety of selection. Honestly, this gave me pretty heavy Interspecies Reviewers vibes, but instead of the gang reviewing their experience after the fact, our main guy is using his skills to make all different types of women (elves, vampires, giants, mermaids, orcs, etc) feel as good as possible. It's honestly just really satisfying and fun to read. As of the time of this review, there are currently only 19 chapters translated into English, but from what I've read so far it's quite a fun time and very enjoyable if you like your ecchi.
I'll definitely be following this manga and looking forward to more chapters getting translated in the near future.

Well this was just disappointing. The whole premise of this manga is that mutant monsters appear on this island and try to devour everything within their sights. We see that humanity fights back, as they call in the military to try and fight these abhorrent mutants. Not much to say about this one honestly. Plot is generic and has been done before a million times. Art quality was fine but the monsters were quite disgusting to look at which made it unpleasant to read. From my perspective it just seemed like a more bland and worse version of parasyte: the maxim. If you're looked for
...
a standard, apocalypse manga where humanity is on the brink of death and they have to fight against these seemingly unstoppable monsters, with some decent artwork here and there, I guess you can read this but if not then you can easily skip this and you'll lose out on nothing. Anyways, I recommend watching or reading parasyte over this because its a very similar concept but executed so much better. If you've seen it already, you'll know what I'm talking about. And if not, then get on it.

Bungo Stray Dogs is back with its 5th season, and it wastes no time at all. Season 5 leaves off directly where season 4 ended. Season 4 of Bungo Stray Dogs ends with Sigma seeing Nikolai as he is falling down from the casino. One of the reasons I loved season 4 so much is because there was heavy focus on Ranpo, and he is one of the most interesting characters to watch. Season 5 focuses on him a good amount too, as they show him bailing the agency out of trouble time and time again, solving cases and coming in clutch at the right
...
times. Another reason why season 5 is great is because Fukuchi is a very interesting character. It was revealed to us in ep 3 that Fukuchi was actually Kamui, who happens to be the leader of the hunting dogs. We also know that Fukuchi has a long and complicated relationship with Fukuzawa, and at some point their paths diverged which caused them to be on opposing sides currently.
Characters: Bungo Stray Dogs has a wide, unique, and well fleshed out cast of characters. I think Atsushi, the main character, is one of the less interesting characters. Nothing wrong with him, but he is a very standard anime protagonist; we've seen his character archetype time and time again. The earlier seasons focus on him and his story a lot (which is also one of the few reasons why I think the earlier seasons of Bungo Stray Dogs aren't as good as the newer seasons). Besides him, we have some excellent side characters to choose from. Dazai, Chuuya, Ranpo, Akutagawa, Kunikida, Fukuzawa, Fukuchi, Kyouka, and Yosano are just a few examples of excellent characters in the show. Each of the characters gets their spotlight and time to shine. Sometimes, there will be an entire ep dedicated to fleshing one character out, and never at any point was it boring or stale to watch, that's how well written these characters are.
Characters: 9.5/10
Animation: Bungo Stray Dogs has always had very good animation, and this is credit to studio Bones. The fight scenes are crisp and fluid, the movements are natural, and outside of the battle sequences the rest of the show looks great too. Not much else to say here really.
Animation: 9/10
OST: Bungo Stray Dogs has a solid OST that works really well with the show and fits the vibe of the particular scene it is used in.
OST: 9/10
OP/ED: Bungo Stray Dogs has always had incredibly great OPs (the eds are a little more underwhelming for me, but i tend to prefer ops most of the time anyways, so im biased here). The new OP by Granrodeo is an absolute banger and I've listened to the full version on spotify quite a number of times. Up until now mmy favorite Bungo OPs have been op 3, followed by op 1. I absolutely love Granrodeo as a group and the new one is equally top tier (nothing wrong with screen mode tho, their ops are very good as well)
OP/ED: 9.5/10
Voice acting: The Japanese voice acting for Bungo Stray Dogs has always been very solid, and this season is no exception. Every character sounds how they're supposed to sound, and the casting choices were well thought out. No complaints here
Voice acting: 9/10
Overall: Should you watch Bungo Stray Dogs season 5? Definitely. If you're a fan of the previous 4 seasons (which you most likely are if you're reading this review for season 5), then you'll love this season.

This review may contain major spoilers for season 1 of Link Click, as well as minor spoilers for eps 1-3 of season 2.
Link Click is back for season 2, and oh boy, it starts off STRONG. I'm assuming everyone here has seen season 1 of Link Click, but just to be safe, I'll quickly recap it. Link Click season 1 was an interesting show about 2 guys, Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang, and their female friend, Qiao Ling, working at a photo booth company and taking on various missions. Cheng Xiaoshi has the power to go into the exact moment when the photos were taken,
...
and he can stay there for up to 12 hours, and Lu Guang acts as a sort of overseer and gives Cheng Xiaoshi all the background information and details he needs to know about that specific case (Qiao Ling manages the business side of the company). Season 1 of Link Click followed more of an episodic format with each episode following different cases that the duo would solve. Some cases were wholesome, other cases were sad, and others were upsetting/frustrating. Most of the season followed this format, until the final few eps where there was a major plot twist. The plot twist was that there was another guy who had an ability to remotely control people from a long distance, and a lot of havoc was caused. People were dying left and right, and nobody knew what was going on. The season left off on a MAJOR cliffhanger that showed us Lu Guang getting stabbed by Qiao Ling (being controlled by the killer), and then it faded to black.
That's season 1 of Link Click. Let's talk about season 2 now.
Unlike the episodic format season 1, season 2 definitely seems to follow more of an ongoing plot, as the main squad are trying to deduce who the killer with the remote possesion ability is. What I also like about season 2 of Link Click is that it gives us a short but well needed recap of where season 1 left off. This helps people like me a lot since I didn't rewatch season 1 right before and it's been over 2 years since season 1 came off. This ain't MHA where they feel the need to spend the entire first ep of a season recapping, but it's also not Musoku Tensei where they have absolutely zero recap, and at first you're thrown off and confused because not everyone has the time to rewatch every single show before it comes back around. It's a perfectly short, 2 minute recap that was just the right length to remind me where we're at right now and where we left off.
Episode 1 of season 2 had a very cool fight scene between Cheng Xiaoshi and Qiao Ling, it really stood out to me and I enjoyed it very much. It gets revealed to us in episode 1 that Lu Guang is still alive, and with the help of surgery, he is making a slow but steady comeback. Now, I was already very impressed in ep 1, but ep 2 somehow managed to increase my intruige even more, make me more interested in the plot and characters, and have an even better fight scene than episode 1. How do they keep one upping themselves each time?!
Story and Characters: This has always been one of, if not my favorite parts of the show. Link Click, at its core, is a time travel story. Compared to other time travel stories its actually on the simpler side of things. But what I love is that even though it remains relatively simple all the way through, it's still extremely engaging and interesting from start to end. There isn't any complicated gimmick like in S;G or Re:Zero. Season 1 was about diving back in time and not changing the past so the future doesn't get changed. Season 2 is about changing the present for a brighter future. All of the main cast are really enjoyable to watch. My favorite character is definitely Cheng Xiaoshi, but Lu Guang and Qiao Ling are amazing characters in their own right too. Every character has their own set of personal beliefs, motivations, quirks, and personalities. Cheng Xiaoshi is more on the airheaded side of things, and isn't the smartest or most calculated guy, but when the time comes, he gets just as serious as everyone else. Lu Guang is a very cool, calm and collected guy, He's very calculated, but at the same time is more quiet, introved, and overall less sociable than Xiaoshi. Qiao Ling is a great person and cares a lot about her friends. She will often go to great lengths for them, putting herself on the line during the process. In this stacked cast of characters, you will definitely find someone to get very attached to and find yourself rooting for.
I'm giving the story and characters a 10/10 because this is definitely one of the strongest aspects of the show.
Animation: Ever since season 1, the animation for this sow has always been good, but I think season 2 really stepped it up. I remember first watching the trailer and being very impressed by the increased quality in animation. The animation in the opening and ending as well (especially the OP) looks absolutely stellar and went above and beyond my expectations. I mentioned the 2 fight scenes earlier, and while they certainly looked top tier, this show doesn't just look good during the action scenes. Every shot, scene, and moment fits and makes sense. The creative use of color, camera angles, shots, lighting, and choreography make the show look visually appealing at all times. It's impressive too because the studio behind it (studio LAN) isn't a super big studio either. They're no MAPPA, ufotable, or bones, but I can tell that every single person working on this put their heart and soul into it. This really feels like a passion project and it honestly shows. The animation is genuinely top tier, and I have no complaints here.
Because of this, I'm giving the animation a 10/10
OST: This might be a hot take, but I don't think the OST is the most important part of a show. Sure, it's needed to make a great series, and it definitely elevates your watching experience, but it's not the #1 thing I'm looking for in a show. This is why a lot of the times I often end up tuning out an OST or not paying it much attention. I'm sure the OST in s1 was good, but it didn't majorily impress me. However, I can't say the same for season 2. Within the first 3 episodes of season 2, there have already been several banger insert songs. Sometimes they play during emotional scenes, sometimes they play during hype fight scenes, but whenever they play, they are impossible to ignore. I've really been a fan of the score this season so I have to give props to whoever was behind it. Overall the music in this show is really solid and enjoyable.
I'll give the OST a solid 9/10
OP and ED: The OP and ED of this show have always been a great part of it, and a really enjoyable experience overall. I absolutely loved the season 1 opening and ending, and the season 2 OP and ED have been just as good imo. I mentioned the top tier animation in the op and ed earlier (especially the op), but I really stand by it. The op and ed this season definitely look better than their season 1 counterparts, and that's saying a lot since the s1 OP and ED looked great as well. The Link Click s2 opening is genuinely one of, if not, the best looking openings this season (behind only JJK s2 imo). And the songs absolutely slap too. I'm so glad they got 白鲨JAWS back to do the op, as well as they got Fan Ka and 白鲨JAWS to do the ed, because honestly, they are both incredibly talented artists, and they never miss with any of their tracks. A cool touch to the op song this time around, is that after the beat drop, the song actually plays in reverse and it plays the first half of the song at that point. It's a dope addition, since as mentioned earlier, Link Click is a time travel story so it makes perfect sense why they'd do this. The team absolutely did not have to go this far or hard, but they fucking did. And I'm so glad. The only other OP I know that plays in reverse is the Zoku Owarimonogatari OP, but that's not because it's about time travel or anything, but the whole theme of the season is that everything is reversed so it just fits. I honestly wish more animes did the reverse OP thing, because it's such a genius idea, when done right. Song wise, I prefer this OP over the season 1 OP, but both are top tier. I've gushed enough about the OP, let's talk a bit about the ed. The season 1 ed is quite iconic and an absolute banger, so the expectations were already really high, but I'm glad to say: not only were they met, they were surpassed!
The season 2 ed is an absolute banger, and I'm really glad both Fan Ka and 白鲨JAWS sang the ed, as they both provide such amazing talents to the table (Fan Ka has an incredible flow and 白鲨JAWS has a really beautiful voice). Now, I do still prefer the season 1 ed song wise, but that doesn't take away from the fact that the season 2 ed is a banger and is also top tier. Link Click is one of those shows where I'll NEVER skip the OP and ED. That's how much I love them.
Overall I'll give the OP and ED a 10/10, it deserves nothing less.
Voice acting: This is a bit of a weird one, since pretty much all the anime I watch are in Japanese, and this is actually the first Chinese anime (Donghua) that I've watched. I do plan to watch more, but for now this is the only one I've had experience with. And honestly, I think me and a lot of other people have been sleeping on Chinese anime. I didn't know they were capable of such incredible quality, but now my doubts are gone. At first, hearing everyone speak in Mandarin was quite off-putting, since I'm so used to hearing Japanese, and Mandarin speaks and sounds quite different to Japanese (I've noticed it's a lot more rough around the edges compared to Japanese, which is regarded as an overall beautiful language by many). However, by ep 3 I pretty much got used to it and I can tell that each of the actors are putting their all into portraying their roles as well as possible. Cheng Xiaoshi sounds exactly how he's supposed to, so does Lu Guang, so does Qiao Ling. Now, if you really can't stand listening to Mandarin, there are always the Japanese and English dubs, tho I'm always an advocate of watching the original audio whenever possible, and here it sounds very good (and it releases before the dub for s2), so I'll do just that. Really the only downside I can think of watching Link Click in general isn't even a problem with the actual show itself. It's the fact that because Mandarin speaks pretty fast in general, the subs actually go by quite fast, so I've found myself having to pause and rewind several times (I'm a monogatari fan tho, so the last thing you'll see me complaining about is having to pause and rewind at times to digest everything). Again, this is an extremely minor nitpick, and it's not even a problem with the actual show itself, it's more of a technicality with anime as a medium.
Overall, I'll give the voice acting a 9.5/10, tho I suspect people who have watched more Donghua will have more insight into the exact quality and might say "this sounds amazing compared to other Donghua" and actually rate it higher than I did. Personally, I don't have this insight, so this is all I can say.
This might be a bit early, but I don't care. I'm giving Link Click season 2 a 10/10. Everything about this show is spectacular. If you are a fan of season 1 (which I don't know how it's possible not to be, since it was peak) season 2 is absolutely worth watching. If the rest of the season continues being this good, I easily see it being the best anime of the Summer 2023 season.

Manga reader here!
Jujutsu Kaisen is always a very enjoyable series to watch/read whenever it comes around, and season 2 of the anime adaptation is certainly no exception. If you're reading this you have most likely already seen s1 and the movie so I will not be covering those in this review. Something to note about JJK season 2 is that the first story arc of season 2 (Hidden Inventory) will be around 5 episodes long, and takes place before the events of the movie. So, it's a prequel to the prequel. Since it's a flashback arc, instead of focusing on our main trio, it
...
focuses on Gojo and Geto when they were second year students at Jujutsu High. It's an entertaining arc that has it's fair share of comedic and serious moments.
Just to let you know, the writing does not fall off at any point in time and it always keeps you engaged and on the edge of your seat. Some people may have dismissed s1 as a "generic shonen with a few cool fight scenes", but it was necessary in order to introduce our main cast and lay the groundwork for what's to come.
Animation: This is probably the aspect that impressed me the most. Obviously, the art is good in the manga, but as we've seen with other series, anime can elevate already good source material to new heights with top tier animation and choreography. This is definitely the case for season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen. MAPPA went all out on the animation and it honestly shows. The trailers look beautiful, the opening looks beautiful, the shows looks utterly stunning. Never at any point did a single shot "look off"". Never at any point did anything look jank, every singular movement was fluid and pristine. And, because Jujutsu Kaisen is, at it's core, a shonen series, it only benefits from stellar animation. No complaints here, and the S tier animation will only be showcased further from here on out, since the next arc (Shibuya) has a LOT of fight scenes.
I'll give the animation a 10/10 because it's genuinely MAPPA's best looking show and the only other one that even comes close to looking as good is God of Highschool.
OST: The OST from this show has always been really good. An OST is supposed to set up the vibe and mood for a particular scene, and not only did I actively notice the OST in JJK (which doesn't happen in a lot of shows), but I genuinely enjoyed it. I even went out of the way to add the entire full soundtrack to my spotify playlist because I loved it so much. It combines certain genres in a very unique way, and the score always feels fitting to the show, so I gotta give props to whoever was behind it.
I'll give the OST a 9.5/10. Great job
Story and Characters: The story and characters for Jujutsu have always been good, but season 2 has definitely elevated those aspects. I like pretty much every character in the main cast. Every villain feels threatening. The good guys feel strong but not invincible. Everything feels balanced. All in all the story is solid but only gets better from here on out.
For now, I'll give the story and characters an 8/10 but I know this will only go up as we go on.
Voice acting: The voice acting in this show has always been really solid and I'm a big fan of the casting choices. Yuuichi Nakamura as Gojo feels super natural, so does Takahiro Sakurai as Geto. They also casted Takehito Koyasu (DIO, Zeke, etc) as Toji (he's a new character that makes his debut in season 2) and it was the perfect fit for his character. All in all the voice acting is great and I really enjoy this aspect of the show.
I'll give the voice acting a solid 9/10 overall.
OP and ED: The OP and ED this time around are great, especially visuals wise. The first opening of season 2 has by far the best visuals, and the ending also has solid visuals. The songs aren't my personal favorites (My fav op and ed are still op 1 and ed 1), but I still find them fun to watch and listen to, and of course, I never skip them.
I'll give the op and ed a 9/10.
So, TL;DR, should you watch Jujutsu Kaisen season 2? Yes, absolutely! If you enjoyed season 1 and the movie even a little bit, there's definitely a lot of enjoyment to be found in season 2, since it only expands on the characters and story more from here on out. It's a great series that is a ton of fun and does everything right. This is a top tier adaptation that surpasses the source material in every regard imo and it's only going to get better from here on out.
Overall, I'll give Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 a 9/10 so far, but I can definitely see myself increasing to a 10 as we move forward with the season and more episodes release.

So, for those of you who are here, I'm assuming you are all fans of the original Bloom Into You anime/manga, or both. So I'm sure you're wondering: what is this? Well, to answer your question, Bloom Into You Anthology is basically a bunch of skits put together by different mangaka and they drew the Bloom Into You characters in different artstyles doing different activities with each other. If you're expecting some S tier storytelling like we got in the original Bloom Into You manga, well, look elsewhere. This was a very fun read because I got to spend more time with the Bloom Into
...
You characters (particularly Yuu, Touko, and Sayaka). Seeing their interactions is always a treat and it just makes my heart feel warm at the end of the day. If I'm looking from an objective perspective, this is probably closer to an 8/10, but I just love the Bloom Into You characters so much that seeing them chill together and spending quality time was a blast. So: should you read this? If you're a big fan of the original Bloom Into You anime/manga, like me, and you want to see more of the characters having fun with each other and enjoying themselves, then absolutely. If you're not really interested in that, then I don't think you need to spend your time on this.
9/10 because anything that features Bloom into You is an automatic W

Because there are no reviews, I'll make one. This was a fun read, tho I don't quite think it's on the level of fantasia, for a multitude of reasons. Basically what this is is worlds end harem fantasia but slice of life edition. We see our MC, Arc, go to school and chill. He enrolls in this coed school which used to be an all girls school just last year. There's only one other guy in his class (no one cares about him lol). Then, as we saw in fantasia, Lati approaches Arc out of nowhere and tells him if he wants to go to
...
the same school as Aurelia (main love interest) he has to practice abstinence for 1 year. Well, easier said than done, especially when your entire school is filled with a bunch of beautiful girls. But, Arc perseveres and tries his best. And eventually they rendezvous and meet up. I especially liked the beach chapter, that one was wholesome. Also, I should mention there is considerably less ecchi in academy than there is in OG worlds end harem or fantasia. I haven't finished all the chapters, since I struggled to find the later ones translated, but from what I saw it was enjoyable and I had fun reading it. Like I said in my fantasia review, don't expect anything amazing out of this one, but if you're already a worlds end harem enjoyer, then I think you'll like it.
