This manga seems promising at first, and will start with some thrilling moments, but after some time, it loses a lot. Nothing like seeing the main characters slaughter hordes of zombies not long after the second time they leave the jail. Also it adds some interesting concepts, like the zombies getting new shapes, that it's truly explored.... once? It's amazing how many good stuff could be done that was dropped. Same thing with the introduction of one of the few female characters, that it was completely dropped and out of place. The worse part is how when things get ''promising'' again, it ends. And it's ... really sudden.

To add up, all the characters are really, but really bland. We have wimp MC, smart friend, leader friend, strong nice friend... and I guess this other guy that is mean but kinda nice. We get a few tagalongs along the way, like guy that is also nice, and woman that feels like an attempt as fanservice, and woman that knows stuff. It also does the trope of showing the characters backstory right before they die, which one time is out of the blue, the other one is done alright, as his story was teased beforehand.

So tl;dr, okay stuff to read, pretty bland and uninspired

This manga starts really good, an interesting premise, cool power concept, and the fights can be really nice. The art, despite not being anything extraordinary, flows really well, and the story starts strong but has its ups and downs.

On the other hand, the characters are unbearable, we have the hot girl + loser dudo, a group of generic, barely relevant friends, a villain with a cool power but very convoluted story, and some side baddies on the way. The story could do with some filler, so to speak, more slice of life moments, and probably less exposition and flashbacks to compensate. Id love more side ... baddies and more bonding between the MCs and their allies. Finally, with time, the fanservice becomes too overbearing. Theres no need to slow the story down to get 2 whole pages of just booba.

Im looking forward to see how it goes, and I am hopeful the story will be good in the end. Too much stuff introduced that for now leads to barely anything.
