Gomenasai for the late reply. Our research is very time consuming... Well I'm trying to warm up at the forums and search clubs. Adding my list though is a problem. i can't remember anime I've watched from last year and the past years. XD
Yet again arigatou gozaimasu (i'm sorry for being repetitive but such kind words should be treated w/ gratitude). A friend of mine recommended this to me so I made an account. Demo, I can't get a hold on her so I don't know what to to do here.
Heh, Ghibli seems to just do what they do effortlessly and yeah, their dubs never disappoint :D I usually find myself rewatching some of the scenes once I realise who was voicing the characters after reading the credits xD I also found that Kaze Tachinu Ghibli film which I remember you mentioned earlier about the girl meeting the engineer, looking forward to that coming out. Wonder what voices we can expect to come up in there :>
Haha, no worries XD My PTW is the epitome of greed so I'm fine with being overloaded!
Naw, to me there's no such thing as "few hours sleep" I either sleep for at least a solid 8 hours or I don't sleep at all :P 8 hours is usually never enough, either. I just get up when I'm not tired anymore and getting bored of laying about xD Usually do as you would though, sleep through alarms. Whenever I have friends stay over, my alarms always wake them up and I'm just out cold :D If you've seen Kanon, I sleep just like the main guy's cousin, I don't have as many alarm clocks though. Wish I did as that many would probably at least have an affect on me :D Yeah, being an owl rox. It doesn't really have an affect on school related work though, as long as I manage my patterns effectively..
Huh, you have summer... At the beginning of the year? XD do you have winter break in Summer time or something? :P Our summers are usually pretty scorching hot you could say, yeah. It gets too hot to even wear a light shirt *o* Nothing can beat those hot summer nights though with a breeze coming through your window :D Does it usually get that hot with you?
Eh, even with all that work I won't get back into a normal pattern until I really feel like it :P The main annoying thing is if you want to watch an anime but you're too tired to follow what the hell is going on >_< Been trying to watch Hyouka and Ergo Proxy over the past couple of days but I just can't keep up with all the dialogue xD I guess that's a common thought nowadays, that the internet can teach you anything, I guess it's kind of true considering you can find anything on the internet :P I agree also, the reason why I never bothered to attempt maths was because I never thought it'd would be useful in the future, I mean I know basic maths skills are obviously useful but taking it on further to learn the algebra and such.. I can't really think of anywhere it'd be useful xD
Yeah I'll try to :D Really can't wait to get over there. Can't wait for uni also, as you said it really does look like a great experience.
I'm pretty sure there will be some nice land there :P They seem to be pretty preservative of their traditional gardens and such, hoping to visit quite a few of those.
Once you've finished with Japanese you could go hardc0r3 and go for the Chinese language as well! Oh, yeah I've realised that as well, going to school on Saturdays as well *o* torture. I'm pretty sure we're lower than slackers in their eyes, perhaps xD
Ah yeah, I've actually seen some of the characters and how some have only the slightest differences, use to know a few, but they were forgotten pretty quickly D: Just imagining having to learn 3k+ of those.. Dayum. Well it's no surprise that the usual language courses for Japanese are 4 years long :P
Ah, think I heard of that guy, he's a language scrub though, not knowing Japanese *o* xD Wonder how long it would've taken him to learn Japanese...
Hrmm, have you played the Slenderman game? I downloaded it but have yet to give it a try. You'd probably get away with harassing people in that costume lmao, since everyone is usually very playful at the cons. >D
I think you should at least look in some way like the character you're going to cosplay, otherwise as you said it can just be embarrassing xD I mean, I'd cosplay as garterbelt if I resembled him in anyway, I'd need a race change also :D
Haven't seen Kore wa Zombie Desu ka D: Dem gifs are great though, Got them saved on my pc XD
I agree, apparently it's a very stressful place to live and work as well.
Well she's sort of like a hostess to a load of spooky shows I think, she also has her own film which I thought was pretty funny. She's been in quite a lot of the Halloween Simpsons episodes I believe as well, titled "Boobarella".
It's pretty high in my priorities, I think I'll download it when I'm done with my current batch, 4 years is quite the long wait as you said after all :> My friend who I use to watch quite a lot of anime with online said he didn't really like it, he didn't watch much of it though so going to find out for myself how it is :D
I definitely know who I'd cosplay if I was a girl :P Celty just too awesum. That would be so awesome pulling up to the con with your outfit and bike, you'd just feel so damn beast XD
Obviously one of the number one causes of eviction in the world. Haha, yup I think vocaloid would work perfectly :D
Huh, Scones seem to be ungodly popular out of England, I've probably had like 3 in my life XD Not seen anyone here hyped over them either.. Can't beat a nice cuppa, though :D
People still wander around with pipes - das just how we role! The pipes have just been degraded to paper cigarettes, though :P Nasty habit *o*
I just find it weird how their voices are all la de dah in Japanese then they sound proper serious in their English, it's usually pretty cute when it seems like they're struggling also xD Unless you're TK from Angel Beats, heard his actor was English anyway though.
I'm pretty sure there is somewhere! Shall keep my eyes pealed!
I want a totoro hat ;.; muy jelly of yuu. I'm pretty sure you can buy a massive teddy bear of him somewhere also :O That would make a bloody great gift XD
I don't think I've really seen some good cartoons on since 2004ish ever since that point they all just seemed to start to degrade. I can't exactly remember what one I watched last, but it involved a load of people throwing a party and getting drunk and pissing about, I don't remember any of that back in the days of Courage the Cowardly dog or any of those old classics :P Much less creativity to be found nowadays :( That's probably not going to have a great affect on the imagination of kids, who seem to be heartbroken about relationships at 8 as you said XD
I'd actually be amazed if anyone below 14 knew what a blue eyes white dragon is these days.
I'd suggest the dub for Code Geass, it really was done very well in my opinion :D I think I saw a couple of episodes of Baccano's dub, I do think it works well considering most of the characters are Italian-Americans. I didn't know Vic Migmogna was in it, if that's who you were referring to :O He's probably my fav guy for the dubs :D
Yeah I agree, Ghibli really does feel like the Disney of the anime world, kinda weird saying that considering that anime was originally inspired by Disney and all xD And that really is great that it can cater for all ages, always has the visuals for the kids and usually pretty sweet and fun plots for the more mature audiences.
I was wondering also, do you play any games? figured you might be into some of the jrpgs on the market.
Laputa was really good! You should try to watch it whenever you can :D I get the feeling quite a lot of films and TV shows have actually be inspired by quite a few of the characters in it. Once again was surprised with Ghibli's usual celebrity picks of voices xD
I've popped Perfect Blue on my PTW list, I don't think it can handle any more titles *o*
Naw, my holidays finished on Monday, I just bend my terrible sleeping pattern into such that is suitable for school days :D Usually go to sleep straight after school and wake up with a good 8hours or so before school xD Get tired at school sometimes though if I mess it up too much so it can be bad at times :< Summer in January? XD It's England so we've got rain most of the time, that makes up our climate pretty much. The climate is usually either too hot or too cold :P It must be nice that you have holidays until Feb :o
Yeah and without the teacher constantly checking everyone, most people just tend to mess about XD I haven't actually done any work this week as the teachers are too preoccupied, I'm just setting myself up for some boring all nighters of non-stop work by doing so however. I don't think I'm going to get into a pretty efficient work routine anytime soon though :P
Yeah, I do :D I may be visiting there for a couple of weeks in the summer this year, if that doesn't happen though will eventually end up there from uni, greatly looking forward to it ^^
Yeah Tokyo would be an awesome place to go to, I'm wanting to go to Kyoto though, maybe Okinawa or anywhere more in the country. I prefer more rural areas to the metropolis, and Japan really does have such a lovely looking country so I want to see that for myself more than anything :) Inevitable that some anime craze will go down though xD Do you plan on visiting there in the future? Surely you must want to go and speak their tongue there :D And thanks, I wish you good luck with your Japanese and sewing also ^_^
Daaayumm 8000, I imagine you'd get pretty confused if you were learning Japanese and Chinese at the same time, maybe that'd just be masochistic XD All those characters just bruising your brain :o They seem to have a character for basically everything from what I've seen, it looks really confusing how you can read the characters different depending on the direction they're written in or something like that. My brain usually implodes when they do that in anime or change about a character's meaning D:
True, but I bet you someone has breezed through it all and become fluent in like less than a year XD
It would make a good performance for one of the cosplay shows at least :D It would be so totally worth it just to see what responses you get from being completely over the top xD A lot of cosplayers I've seen usually are anyway.
Oh, wow we had quite a lot of slendermen here as well :P Pretty freaky as they all just stood in random places and stared people down (Even if you couldn't see their eyes).. Hes become major popular recently though, I barely even knew about him when I first saw all the cosplayers so it was kinda weird XD One thing to try for future cons is to stare one down until they move. Oh, man. Yeah you can usually find some absolutely goddamn amazing ones, but you also get those really poorly done ones or really out of place ones, a white guy going as afro samurai for example, I mean it's just weird :o
While I remember, here's a couple of the Naruto gifs: I keep looking at that older one I sent you and I mean, mother of god. It always guarantees a laugh.
Hahahaha these just make him look like a mentally handicapped mouse or ragdoll being played with.
A lot of America seems like the middle of nowhere *o* "The city of lights" does look very pretty as well to add on as a bonus, the Tokyo night life looks really fun :D
Yeah, Doctor Who is like, phenomenally popular.. It always bored me though xD
This is Elvira also; You can probably tell why she's popular from the image alone :P
Oh yeah, it's awesome when someone is visiting and they're someone you really like! you reminded me also, I've been meaning to watch Wolf's Rain for about 4years now >_< I need to get around to checking it out XD
Ah, nice one! the cons are usually best for getting the watching material, everything else is usually priced through the roof. I picked up Summer Wars & The Girl who Leapt Through Time blu ray pack last time I went, and that alone drained me of most of my spending money xD also got a couple posters as well, picked up a glass framed poster of Celty from Durarara!! also for very cheap :D The cons need more Celty cosplayers also, dat helmet. >_>
You should try it just to annoy everyone who can hear :D Find an anime with the most obscure and annoyingly high pitched voices to synch with the music, maybe even hentai if you're feeling brave lmao. Just a casual viewing session...
Ah Fulham is actually quite near me, if I'm thinking of the right place that is, which is in London. Yeah, it's usually the Queen, Big Ben, The London Eye or Tea which people get on their minds :D Oh, really? I'll have to try out Gosick just to see how they portray us as well then XD Maybe there really are some spots in England which are solely spoken in Japanese, I also love when in animes they speak English, I think the last I saw it was Rikka in Chuunibyou... Tomoyo also spoke a bit of English in Clannad and I loved that, it was awesome :D
I can't even remember where I got Clannad, tis was quite a while back :s Am looking forward to getting Higurashi though.
XD Totoro basically was a massive teddy bear, I don't think such innocence exists in cartoons anymore :P I sat through a couple with my cousin quite a while back and it's like there's just no character or atmosphere in any of the current showing ones D: Everything seems to have more adult humour in it then childish, maybe kids are just getting mature faster or TV is just getting messed up.
Dubs are good when you want a break from reading, I guess :D As you say, they're pretty enjoyable to watch for a rewatch also. Some animes I can't even think about being in Japanese, such as Death Note and Code Geass xD Do you watch the Ghiblis in Japanese or English? All the ones I've seen have been in English so far.
Yeah :P The first thought I had when I saw the trailer was just "Evangelion". Be interesting to see how they work with mecha though, I doubt transformers could count, I hated that regardless.
I've heard of Perfect Blue, that's the extent of my knowledge on it :P I think I'll have to check it out then, I've been into some of the messed up stuff lately xD Even better if it's considered a classic! Haven't seen many films lately, either. Need to get around to watching Castle in the Sky, might watch that after I'm done with this message actually. My sleeping pattern is kind of messed up - waking up at 4:30am - got quite a while until school so I guess some ghibli can keep me entertained :D
That must be pretty nice to have your own tutor :o In terms of education you'd get much more actual help from them right, since you don't have to worry about a teacher that has to deal with a whole class of students xD It's like that at my sixth-form, too many students and the teacher just can't sit down with everyone to discuss how work is going. It's kind of independent until the teacher yells at you for not knowing what you're doing in lesson :D
I'm actually not sure at the moment, I can either take a course solely on Japanese with no minors, or I can go with a major in International Business with Japanese as a minor. The latter sounds like it'd be more useful to me in the future, either course lets me spend a year to study in a university in Japan though so I'm not too picky :D I can imagine how difficult it'd be as well, having tried to memorise some of them myself, but it must be very exciting at the same time, especially when you learn them all :) Kanji is also what I've always thought would be the most difficult to learn, also xD 10 strokes in a single character just seems beast *o* I guess it wouldn't be as fun if it was easy, plus you can show off when you do learn it! :D
Haha, I know right? XD I think I'd have to get a 'Chuunibyou syndrome' act on to go with the costume though, that'd be pretty weird :P Going up to random people and trying to make 'contracts' with them :D I'm sure as long as you work on it you'll get there in the end :) You can start making some more complicated ones afterwards as well! The best costume I saw at Comic Con was someone going as Ikaros from Sora no Otoshimono *o* Wanted to get a picture with her so bad but she was in a rush to leave when I saw her D: It was truly amazing though. Yeah, the Mononoke one was superb though, one of the best I've seen, couldn't find any pics of it online, otherwise I would've added it to this message.
That would just be insane, 20 cons in your state and you're still no where near any of them xD I don't know about Japan, but it seems like they don't even need as many since anime seems to be integrated everywhere in their cities, especially Akihabara, which is in Tokyo I believe.
I think I've actually seen a video of the 'Armageddon' con, not entirely sure though :P Oh, nice you met Johnny Young bosche? That must've been awesome :o We tend to get more 'nerd culture' guests such as Matt Smith who's the current Doctor Who, he was at the last con, not a fan of Doctor Who though :P We do still get the odd voice talent though, last time we had Liam O'brien and Stephanie Sheh the con before that. Didn't get to see either, though :( Liam was just impossible to find and Sheh's line was beyond long XD We actually even had Elvira show up at one of the cons, which was pretty surprising.
Too use to HDMI now, once you get it, you just cannot go back to anything before :D
Yeah, talk about breaking the rhythm of a fight :D Glad you liked it though :P I think there's actually some more animation like that in the same fight, if I find any of it I'll post it in my next reply. They really were hilarious. Totally what you don't need in which was suppose to be the most emotionally-driven battle up to that point in Naruto XD
Lmao, I'm pretty sure it's cheaper to supply a drug addiction than an anime addiction these days, provided you are buying anyway. Do you get any merchandise at Armageddon? All the lovely looking figures are usually at ridiculous prices :( I think it would be hard to concentrate on an anime if you had music shaking the room :D MOAR OF A CHALLENGE.
No, I haven't seen the Queen :D Seen the palace though, that seems to be a major tourist attraction here :P Do you know what part of England your dad is from? It is a great place though as he says. I love it when animes are set in England, firstly you get to see how everyone thinks you're the most posh nation in the world. Then they just make you hungry, showing all of our foods, I've been craving some lemon meringue every since I watched Kuroshitsuji the other day :<
Oo, thanks for the link, I'll have to treat myself to that sometime :D I already have the Clannad VN as well, need to work through that still. It's just sad hearing all that music again which puts me off it D: It really is fun though, seeing all the anime scenes and even more which wasn't adapted into the anime.
I guess your right, it's just so innocent that it doesn't really make you think about things most of the time, damn some crazy stuff does happen in those ghibli films though.
It's not the same without those laughs :D Higurashi does have my favourite voices though, if that was a factor you could categorize into favourites. the dub to sub transaction has happened quite a lot though, I really like the FMA dub so watched brotherhood in dub for about 40 episodes, then realise that they didn't dub the entire thing yet, had to watch the rest in subs and it was so weird xD One of the reasons I never go with dubs anymore, Unless it's a rewatch, of course. Isn't Haruhi actually considered like one of the best dubs out of usual series of anime? I mean most people seem to think of Kyon and his English voice most of the time, maybe that's just from what I've seen though. I agree though, a lot of the times the dub just seem out of place.
I can't even remember most of the happenings in the movie D: All I remember is basically what the title says xD Still need to watch that on dvd or blu ray though, since the only time I've seen it was the bootleg I watched, totally legit of me.
Oh, god I can't even imagine how that would work in live action XD Just thinking about a load of different animes in live action sequences.. It looks like they're trying to recreate the mecha genre by Hollywood standards also, if with that 'Pacific Rift' film I think it's called, they're using GLADOS from Portal also, if you've played that?
Oh the film was made in 1995, while the series started in 2003. I haven't seen the series so I can't exactly say what it's about, I'd recommend trying the movie first though. It really is a classic, I think both the film and the series tell a different story. There's also a sequel to the original film, although not as good.
Oh that's really cool! :D Are you learning it in school? I'm going to be studying it myself at university later in the year around September :> How long has it taken you to crack down on the Hiragana? I haven't looked much into it, but those seem to be the most simple characters they use. I'd imagine you'd envy anyone who could speak fluently in a language you'd want to learn though, they can do what you can't after all xD
That's awesome! You'd be able to make your own costumes and everything *o* That's something I've been really wanting to do for the longest time, but I guess I can't really do much about it at the moment. Amagawawawawd I really love the Mononoke cosplays, thumbs up for that! I go to a comic con that's held in London twice a year. Only started going last year so next time will be my third visit to a con, really want to cosplay as some characters I love but don't have the needed skills to make any of the outfits :( I did buy a Frank the Bunny outfit from Donnie Darko though and went as him last time :D Makes you feel sort of like a celebrity for a day :P I also want to go as the "Dark Flame Master" as well as some others, that'd be epic XD
I'm sure you'll be able to get a Mononoke costume down pretty good , it doesn't really look like the most difficult costume to make, I'm just a novice in such matters though *o* Good luck with it anyways :> Only saw one Mononoke last time I went to the con, didn't get a chance to take a pic with her though, really do love that costume ;~; Only 2, huh? xD Kind of sucks :( If you were to go to America there seems to be like, 20 or so in every state? I'm pretty sure I'm not exaggerating :P
I don't really have a problem with the fansubs. Sometimes I think they can go pretty well with an anime, Higurashi for example, I remember one of the sub groups used colour coding on their subs (Say if a green haired character was speaking - green subs). Plain old translations are fine though, and they don't distract you too much from the anime itself! I get what you mean with the laptop + TV connectivity also, it must be weird putting a VGA into a laptop :D
YUP, 100% legitly in the middle of what was suppose to be one of the best Naruto fights. It was basically like they just hired someone who has never animated before to animate that sequence XD Still, the gif is always good for brightening you up no matter the mood :>
That method never werks ;~; BUYING EVERYTHING IS WHAT MATTERS. The "normals" just aren't aware of our power levels! They know not of the luxury of anime and instead dilly daddle in their world of rap hop and recreational drugs! that's how the norm of London feels these days anyway xD You collect figurines as well then? :D I've always thought about getting some but, they're usually just too much moneh and I'd rather take home a series than a figure :P Fo'sho! Every day is a glorious a day in our lives! \o/
Anime Reel doesn't look like it's in many countries, I looked it up and all the results I got were New Zealand :D Must be really nice to have. Anime on the big screen will eventually come, I'm sure!
Crunchyroll works good with 720p, there's not a great deal of different between it and 1080p really imo, it still looks very good. Yeah, 'Murica always getting everything >< I guess they have the second biggest market for anime though.
Oh? What currency do you use then? XD
I've only tried about 3 or so VNs, I reeeeaaaallllllyyyyy want to get the Higurashi ones, have heard amazing things about it and just want it sooo bad ;~; All VNs must be eroges, it's one of the laws of Japan! Every VN I know is an eroge though, with the exception of Higurashi and Clannad (Although, Clannad does have an alternate version which is eroge). VNs are pretty fun though, have you tried any?
Those sound pretty interesting, Ghibli usually use some pretty bizarre stuff. Oh my, I know right? I always thought the same thing when I saw it, I mean, there's a goddamn face on a fish and everyone's all yeah I'm not going to question this. If you remember when Sousuke is playing by the beach and the water just attacks him, his response "That was weird." XD I guess everyone is just that carefree where they live!
They're always going to dub over and remake foreign films because some people are just so damn lazy and can't be bothered to read, I mean I don't think half of the viewers of foreign media are illiterate.. that seems to be one of the reasons why so much is redone :< It's actually quite annoying to see some great films being remade to Hollywood standards because of such reasons, I heard Battle Royale is going to get a Hollywood remake or something. D: I mean at least dub over it or something if people can't be bothered to read, just why with the remakes, I think it's completely unnecessary. I guess that's just because the producers get paid a lot. I'm not saying dubbing is a sickness or anything like that xD I just don't like these remakes which are being done of good foreign films :x
Yeah, Higurashi had a dub. I guess it's not as bad as others but, you REALLY wont get anywhere near the same effect as the Japanese voices. There's so much character in all the voices, the way everyone speaks has a massive impact on the atmospheres and the English dub, you just can't get those tones right. some of the characters have some maniacal laughter in that, you can proper feel if someone is going insane. I guess if you did want to try the dub, they only licensed the first series so you wouldn't be able to watch the rest the same :P
The movie was really good, I agree! It also felt so weird seeing the much more, 'alive' animation which was used, you could definitely tell they had much more budget and it looked amazing throughout. I didn't really mind the length, anime films usually seem too short for my liking xD Yeah Yuki is a massive perv in it :P I think she often lends Kyon some of her hentai, lucky him I guess.
600 episodes is pretty insane *o* not a problem if you love it though, as it basically never ends!
Yeah that's why I generally tend to favour the older shows, even with live action films.
Yeah I can see what you mean, main problem I have with them is that they just seem to be the same generic thing over and over again, so you kind of lose interest into trying out new ones. As you say though, there's definitely some really good ones.
Yeah I was referring to live action films only on my last part :D I've seen a couple of Japanese films that try to do a sort of 'anime style' of comedy and those are reaally weird xD Frankenstein girl vs vampire girl is a good example of that, I don't really recommend giving it a try though unless you really feel like watching something insane and VERY low budget.
There definitely are such players, since I've seen them online :D http://tinyurl.com/bdnb6jw - a pretty cheap one.
By the way, when I've mentioned Ghost in the Shell before, I was referring to the movie, not the series. Haven't seen the series :D Yeah, being fluent would be pretty good, no more having to wait for subs and importing everything straight from the source! You said already also, are you studying it or something?
Yeah, I'm pretty sure the animes I did get from there are bootlegs :P They're all pretty good though, the 2nd season of Higurashi is the only problem as the subtitles always have "(ANIME):". Although that's only for the first couple of episodes. they're pretty cheap so I guess it's worth what quality it gives :D I don't really get any more stuff from there, but haven't come across anything with quality like you'd expect from a bootleg film in the cinema. that being said, I saw the bootleg of the Haruhi film and that was pretty good xD VGA's been around forever so, more synergy with the oldies I guess :D Can't you screw the cables in to keep them from falling out, I'm guessing the TV doesn't allow it? I'm pretty sure you'd be happy to fill those HDMI inputs :D Reading what you said about K's budget in all the animation, this was all I had in my mind:
oh, my. This NEVER ceases to make me chuckle. Naruto's animation just went hilarious for a while..
Yeah, definitely :D Can't beat that feeling! Heh, I usually don't spend enough whenever I visit such a shop, then regret it after leaving and then return to buy whatever I was unsure about buying, then get all happy with just the fact that they're now mine *o* Haha, yeah I'd say I'm quite the nerd also xD But right that first feel when trying something new on DVD really is great. Still want to see an anime in the cinema, no showings so far in London though surprisingly, I would've thought we'd at least get some older ones being shown considering how we have some really bizarre cult films and shows that can be watched in certain cinemas. Maybe I'm just not looking in the right place and there's a whole anime underground of cinema going on :o Do you get as many shown in cinemas there? I remember you said you saw Wolf Children in the cinema?
You don't have to worry about membership with Crunchyroll, Every month they send you free trials! It's great :D I don't think that's true though, the memberships give you access to 1080p and oh, boy. Does that lag like no tomorrow, unless you have some beast internet. I'd say that's the main problem they have though, the regional restrictions which can be so annoying ;~; It is good to be able to see some of the animes an hour after they're aired though, that's one of the great things about the site.
Naw, we use Great British Pound in England :D We're part of the European Union but don't use the same currency as all the others. I did some calculating for ya, 1,735.53 New Zealand Dollars roughly for dem Clannad blu rays :D and that's about 20 dollars less than the Kara no Kyoukai blu rays I sent you.
Japan is a pretty expensive country I guess ;~; I don't really have a great idea about the economy there though xD
Nah, I don't really stick with manga, to be honest. I mean I read Naruto every week when it's published online and have finished about 1 or 2 mangas as I wasn't happy with the anime ending.. That's my manga life xD I just don't really get the same feel for manga as I do with anime, I guess. Never really been a heavy reader, I guess. the visual stimuli of anime is just too good, so I can't help but not be as interested in it.
Oo, that's good to hear! :D Will be looking forward to those, hopefully they'll be out in cinema *o* Will be checking out Poppy Hill and yeah, I also really enjoyed Ponyo. Plus it had Liam Neeson featuring as Freaky ginger monotone fish man xD The art really was beautiful though, as you said, especially the underwater stuff. Which seemed to be the majority of the film as I remember.. Not too surprising though, as it is about a fish :D
I just can't stand the Clannad dub full stop D: They really did something special with the series and it just doesn't feel right that they should dub over it, it was already perfection! Well I wouldn't say English is really emotionless in anime, some pull it off pretty well, but anyway most of the time the English just sounds like the emotions are trying to be forced, maybe?
You were fortunate to be able to skip it *o* I was watching it when it was airing, so as we've discussed about filler after waiting for a week, that's what it felt like xD Do you mean the episode with the cat talking? Haven't seen any haruhi since I finished the film but can kind of remember the cat :D The whole series seemed like they were just trying to film that movie they made at one point lmao. It was a very enjoyable series over all though, have you seen the mini series that they released? The melancholy of haruhi-chan or something along those lines. That was genuinely pretty funny in quite a lot of the episodes, the soundtrack was pretty catchy also :>
Just thinking about being in a real life situation where two guys were kissing near me, yeah I can already feel the awkwardness XD Well, we both seem to be avid fans of Yuri, To the fanclubs!
Nah, Naruto is the only one I've been interested in out of "The Big 3", I've tried the other two but I just cannot get into them :P Don't really see the hype over them tbh, I don't really think their as special as people make them out to be though, maybe it's just because they're beyond long or something. I see lots of people big up Naruto quite a bit too much also, I can see why quite a lot of people usually hate fans of Naruto thanks to this :P
Oh yeah I forgot SAO was in two season at the moment, and a third is coming out if I'm not mistaken. Was thinking of waiting for that to come out and finish but everyone keeps saying I should watch it so, what choice do I have xD
Those romances started annoying me quite a while ago D: Then again I guess any anime based solely around romance and drama has much better relationships (not all the time) than some of the shojos and some other animes heavily based around other themes.
You should try Battle Royale whenever you can :D Top notch film, everyone I've shown has loved it also after their "Oh, no we can't watch a Japanese film, it'll be filled with school girls or monsters!" You seen much Japanese cinema?
It's hard to start and come up with an idea but once you get going, Yea it is soo fun :P
Durarara No i haven't. I am still quite new to anime only started watching a few weeks ago so ill check that out :D
I know, She is creepy as hell :P, have you finished it? She becomes even more creepy at the end haha

I will send you the request :P
Let me know when you finish it. Wanna see what you think of it haha
May I add you? :D
Durarara No i haven't. I am still quite new to anime only started watching a few weeks ago so ill check that out :D
I know, She is creepy as hell :P, have you finished it? She becomes even more creepy at the end haha
