A music video for the Japanese boy band arashi, set in the world of One Piece, where members of the band go on adventures together with the Straw Hats. Later they jump with the Thousand Sunny to Japan where arashi gives a concert. The music video is not badly animated and actually quite well realised. just another summary. The most important scenes of the season are played while Lena reports on them. If you've taken a longer break between seasons 1 and 2 and can't remember certain details from the first season, you can definitely watch the episode. But it's no substitute for the actual season. If you only watch this summary and skip to the second season, you probably won't really understand the story. Also, you shouldn't miss the good atmosphere and worldbuilding of the first season. It's not a bad summary, but you only need to watch it if you don't remember the first season well.

as recap episodes to season 2 they are ok. if you personally don't have that much interest in the season, you can watch those instead, but for a generally better experience, I would prefer the actual season. Especially an anime like 86, where the quieter and more atmospheric moments allow the story to unfold, will not be fully utilised by a recap that will only contain action and essentials. The relay starts with a time skip. The rest of the Spearhead squadron lost contact with San Magnolia and are in the territory of the Federal Republic of Giad, the original empire that led the Legion, where they have been accepted as citizens. I liked how the people of the Speahead squadron were struggling to live a normal life, believing they were abandoning their fallen comrades and feeling obligated to end it once and for all on the battlefield. When I watched 86, I had no idea how popular and praised this anime was and now that I've seen it, I have to say that I can definitely understand the popularity. The Republic of San Magnolia is divided into different districts and is at war with the AI-controlled drones of the Giadian Empire. The people of the 86th district have been stripped of all human rights and are forced to fight against the drones. Since their existence is denied by the government, the people of the Republic of San Magnolia live under the propagandistic lie that the war has not claimed a single victim.

Another summary of Kabaneri of the iron fortress. this time the second half of the series. much better than the first film, but not really worth seeing here either. The films in no way offer a special experience compared to the series. Kabaneri of the Iron fortress is quite entertaining, but quickly becomes boring, which is why it's actually rather bad to watch 1-2 hours of the films in a row and I would much rather recommend that you watch a maximum of 2 episodes. The summaries are definitely not necessary and also offer the worse experience for me personally.

Unfortunately, a rather less good summary of the first half of the series. An extra scene was added at the beginning, but it doesn't contribute anything to the story or plot. Strangely, the scene where Ikoma almost turns into a Kabane was cut out, so it just cuts from nowhere to a scene where the people of the Iron Fortress are angry with the Kabaneri without providing context as to what exactly happened before. Very strangely placed tv specials, as they are just 2 random episodes after the anime has already been finished. They are also in no way relevant to the story, which is probably why they weren't originally adapted. One episode is a beach episode and the other is a pool episode, which is hilarious because of course we needed these two obligatory episodes to finish off a romance harem anime. I think the second episode mainly serves to deepen Yotsuba, while the first episode is all about how Futarou feels about the quintuplets. If you are a fan of the series, you can watch it, but

The finale of the story, where the characters graduate from school and Fuutarou chooses one of the girls. It doesn't really feel like a film, but more like several episodes in a row, which wouldn't have been enough for a third season. The story comes to a relatively rounded conclusion. I think it's cool that such an old short story by Oda has been adapted. The characters aren't complex or really deep, but they fulfil their purpose. Also, it's a characteristic feature of a short story that we only get a glimpse of the characters rather than fully developed characters. The fights are short, but really cool animated and staged. I also like the last scene they added to emphasise that the story is about the Ryuuma. This gives you a good impression of the person behind the great sword master.
