I made this account because I really like writing reviews but I dunno if i will be active on here lets see what time brings.
I'm an aspiring artist and a huge fan of animated movies and series - not necessarily anime, but they're one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I love French shows like Les Grandes Grandes Vacances or movies such as Persepolis and Waltz with Bashir. When I was younger I binged on a lot of multi-season anime series, I was really into shonen classics such as Bleach or Detective Conan. For some time, I took a break from anime altogether because I was bored by it, but went back to embrace more niche works, like Tokyo Godfathers and most recently, also the 80s manga Parasite (Kiseijuu). I finally decided to join this website because I hope to find more stuff I like, and also because I really like writing reviews and talking about movies and shows! If you like analyzing stories like I do, you're more than welcome!!
This blog will feature mostly shows with high ratings because I usually select my shows very very carefully. I like short, well done character-driven stories that give the protagonist lots of depth, hence you'll rarely see multi-season epics on here (kinda got really bored of those) but mostly 10 to 80 episode long shows that explore some sort of psychological theme. If you like the same type of show please do not shy away from recommending me stuff!! Gotta love finding some new series to watch.

The one thing I gained from this site is that I can actually watch airing anime and keep tabs on what may interest me. Usually it would take me years to find out about a show. E.g RE.ZERO has been running since spring, it is soo good and I probably would never have heard of it if I didnt have an account here.
I have never heard gravity falls. I remember Avatar though! Lets not mention the movie.
You are right, you should never let someone tell you what is right and wrong (in most circumstances). Lol
Funny enough Monster is one of the first shows I found on this site! Damn it's so good, one of the only anime to scare the shit out of me lol, You will enjoy the ride for sure :)
Their bonkers well to be honest anime is quite a niche thing in the rest so you are bound to get all types of people. Though I would say its only the minority, but the minority are always the most loudest so your more likely to get some elitist viewpoints or silly perspectives from people. Then you gotta consider the average age etc. but from the people I have met, they all seem nice :)
Personally I watch anime as a hobby and because I find Japanese culture very intriguing in general. - Got no clue what an otaku is unfortunately lol, I only recently found out what Yaoi was and stuff so I will probably have an ignorant viewpoint.
Wow I never met a cos player before, I am quite humbled! I appreciate the time and effort you guys put in :D, I am a lil more boring as I am a recent Business graduate lol makes me wonder if I am getting to old to watch anime, :P
P.S nothing wrong with being nerdy as long as you are happy :) - and dont be shy of approaching people not like you got anything to lose

In term's of the site, to be honest I am relatively new to but do any questions spring to mind regarding to the site? - Alot of people seem bonkers on here for a start :D, so I try stay away from forums.
hmm how can we discuss anime, well how comes your motivated to write reviews and the site has helped me LOADS in finding anime that I am most likely to enjoy. For example 4 of the top 5 anime I enjoy now were all discovered on this site, I would likely have never heard of them if it was not for that. It has also helped me understand the anime industry in terms of studios and the staff members if that makes sense lol.
