People like to compare this anime to Cowboy Bebop. I think Outlaw Star is more creative and fun. In this anime we are blessed with four main characters, Suzuka who is a beautiful but dangerous assassin, Jim who is a eleven year old genius, Gene who is the charismatic gunman of the team and finally Aisha who is a cute but dangerous catgirl. I thought the ending wasn't going to be that great but it was similar to The End of Evangelion because both endings leave you thinking and wanting more. I also love the mixture of magic and technology. One of the things that ... got me into this anime was the intro song. The sound is on point and the english dubbers do a great job. Did I forget tell you that Lenore Zann who is the voice actress for rogue in the X-Men TV series does the voice for Aisha Clanclan? Overall, I loved this anime and if you enjoyed Cowboy Bebop, you should definitely give Outlaw Star a try.

A japanese businessman named rock gets captured by the mercenary group called Black Lagoon. Tired of his mundane corporate life, Rock sticks with the lagoon company becoming a part of their gang. Have you ever watched any action films like Die Hard, The Matrix, or erminator 2: Judgement Day? Well this great anime series is like those films. There's a lot of guns and action. I never really like rewatching anime but Black Lagoon is the only series I rewatch from time to time. There's just so much action in every episode, you'll never get bored.

The story is good enough. It's an ... anime that focuses on a lot of action so don't expect the story to be amazing like Evangelion and Berserk. The art is quality! I love realism in anime so the art in Black Lagoon is a big win for me. The sound is point. I prefer the dub because the voice actors do a better job in my opinion. One of the characters is russian, right? Why would a russian speak Japanese. It would make more sense to watch the dub because most of the characters speak english except for the yakuza. As for characters, there's plenty of interesting characters in this show. My favourite character is Revy who does most of the fighting for Black Lagoon. She dual wields two pistols in battle and has a fiery personality. She would eat Erza Scarlet for breakfast, trust me. Overall if you love guns and action, this show is for you.
