Okay, so if you have watched the 1st movie, you would be wondering if you should continue the series since you are utterly confused. The second movie gives a great insight on the main character Shiki (式) and SHIKI (織) that she has a dual personality.
So, to start things off, the makers of this movie has not reduced the level of blood spilled in this movie, which is good for those "I love gore" people and the romance between the two main characters is not to shabby at all. Most anime romance goes through repetitious, lovey pink bubbles, big glowing eyes waiting for you

To top things off, I first realized this movie from the "Top Anime" list where the 5th movie was rated #1. Unfortunately, I was unable to watch the 5th movie to start off with since I didn't want to be awkwardly confused about what has happened. So I decided to check out all the Kara No Kyoukai movies.
This movie was quite unique compared to the other anime I watch. Be it that there is actually FOR ONCE a strong female character in this movie. The male protagonist wasn't too girly either which gave me confidence to continue the movie. Anyways, the drawing of this movie ... |
