Occasionally, some bring up the many common scifi trappings it runs into, from physically impossible events and unlikely technology to the archaic 1600 century line battles the strategy is inspired by, but then again, being a 100% realistic hard scifi wasn't really LoGH's point from the start. It's the characters and the story they play part in that is the main attraction.
But the moment people start spouting hate about it that's almost certainly to be a case of too high expectations in the hard scifi department coupled with bad hype backlash or mere brats who hasn't even seen it, whining because of the ratings. If I had a dime for every rating troll I've found, I'd be at least a little bit richer by now.
I've been thinking of making a review sometime myself, but when I keep seeing all the good ones that are already there, there just doesn't seem to be much point to it.
