Sports anime have become quite popular recently. I'm not really into this genre, but I saw a few things like Kuroko no Basuke (which was "okay"), Free!! (which was really enjoyable) and Yowamushi Pedal (which I hated). When I decided to give Haikyuu!! a try, I was kind of sceptical, but after first few episodes I found myself absorbed into the story and eventually fell in love with this anime and am now waiting for the second season.

real pleasure for my ears :) The characters are also great and their story is told through their actions, words and thoughts, without those long annoying flashbacks. Some flashbacks are present here, of course, but they are interesting to watch and there's no wish to skip them.
The story here is great as well. It has some sports anime cliches, but it's really interesting to follow. Some moments are really intense and make you cling to your monitor and be like "SCORE THE POINT PLEASE SCORE THE DAMN POINT AND WIN THIS SET", some moments are really funny (actually, it's been a while when I actually laughed out loud watching anime), and some moments are just enjoyable.
So thanks to Haikyuu!! I got to understand volleyball better (I never thought it's so hard and complicated), had some really pleasand days spent watching this anime, and even decided to write my first review on this website :)
To sum it up, this anime is really well-balanced and for me it was still interesting when I decided to rewatch it. So I rate it 10/10 and wait for the next season :)
