I never thought it would be possible for me to finish a entire anime in 30 minutes......Well I spoke too soon.
Story: 3/10
The main plot of the story seemed very interesting to me, and I couldn't stop watching it. But the thing that set me off was the fact that the plot didn't go nowhere. 4 minutes per episode (including the op and ed) is not enough to develop a entire story. I've heard great things about the manga. I've also heard how the adaptation randomly throws around moments from the manga to create one HUGE scrambled mess.
Art: 8/10
I've got to give the anime good
...
credit on it's artwork, as that is what mainly drawn me into the anime. The scenes were Yume is eating her brother were ABSOLUTELY FUCKING DISGUSTING. But the artwork in these scenes were amazing, and made the moments way more creepy (especially because of the blood and guts.)
Sound: 4/10
Honestly at first I didn't pay attention to the music as I was gagging at the fucking Eating scenes. But looking back, the music was pretty descent. The Opening and Ending were really good in my opinion.
Characters: 3/10
The characters were one of the worst fucking parts of the story. Let me end it off with this..."Onii-Chan..Onii-Chan...Onii-ch-"-SHUT THE FUCK UP YUME!
Personal Enjoyment: 3/10
Personally, I kinda liked it at first. But then I realized how fucking stupid I am. I watched it again and nearly threw up my KFC I had earlier that day. I thought the story was rushed...wait what story. Yume was annoying as fuck. And the entire thing made no sense.
Overall: 3/10
In conclusion, Pupa is a horrible mess that was scrambled up. I think that the anime was made just to be an advertisement for the manga. Maybe the Manga will be better, well guess I better read it. Hopefully one day they'll remake this series and make it actually good.
