Freezing...a manga that brings up being controversy and mostly shaking heads to anime fans as the amount of fanservicei you will find her, is quite frankly ridicoulous , despite it being an actually good story - if you leave all of the fanservice aside.
Hello and Welcome, my name is Ryoki and welcome to my Review of Freezing.
First of all lets talk about the setting and story in general ( may contain spoiler so scroll down if you dont want to read this)
Freezing is set in a post-apocalyptic world where supernatural beings called the ,,Nova'' reign terror in the lands of humanity. Nova are
...
somewhat like aliens, this at least is what the anime says. You then immediately see a jump backward so the Pandora can be explained. The Pandora are, you could have guessed, Humanitys answer to the Nova.
Basically by giving them fragments of a nova body, they are able to become a weapon against the nova, like in the good old tale ,, lets beat fire with fire.'' These women are having male companions which they call a Limiter, in which also Nova fragment have been implanted, granting the ability to create a forcefield which immediately immobilises the target - that is what they call ,,Freezing.''.
The story focuses on a certain pair or on as a primary point on Satelizzer ,,the Untouchable queen.'' given the name by the fact that no one on the whole campus dares to fight or touch her. Until then the faithful day when the brother of the last pandora heroine comes to the facility. Aoi Kazuya, which still doesnt know anything what is happening on said schoolground until he comes inbetween a fight in which Satelizzer and a second student clash, he mistakens Satelizer for his sister and then holds her back from fighting , making her loose though by the attack of her enemy. He feels bad afterwards, and wants to apologize to Satelizer, even after being warned by the class president Chiffon. And even when being taken into a fight and then even facing a real third year pandora , he doesnt want to leave her side and then eventually becomes her Limiter.
Satelizer on her own is a bit a damaged character , damaged in the way of that she hides her insecureness. She had a very cruel childhood and had to sustain many things and thus searched the resolve to fight on while trying to never loose a fight.
Kazuya on the other Hand is like the mirror to her , they resemble a very good pair together. Kazuya on his own is a justice-loving character as naturally after his sisters death he wants to make him self useful and join West Genetics.
Art, i dont really know what to say at this point, the animation on itself is not bad but also not fantastic, what im personally disappointed is at the design choices that the makers took , instead of choosing the way that the manga took. A big example of that is the Pandora Mode, in the manga, you have real suits in which they look final fantasy styled and really cool. Like here for Ingrid:(please fill the links into your browser , both are directly the pictures i want to show)
http://2.p.s.mfcdn.net/store/manga/2212/02-009.0/compressed/bpage10.jpg
And now her look in the Anime:
https://avvesione.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/freezing-12-ingrid-pandora_mode-battle.jpg
Keep in mind, that is my personal opinion - maybe you will like but I personally shake my head at that. You have absolutely cool and sturdy looking suits for each pandora , which is unique and instead what they chose is a simple glowing...
So also the sound isnt really that well done. Themes are supposed to catch your attention and make you pumped up for what is about to come but those from freezing arent really gripping - not for me at least. Neither the opening or ending are really that epic - which should have been necessary for an apocalyptic anime.
Even so , at the end of this review - i'd like to recommend to try this anime at least - at least one episode to see how it goes. I have calculated the overall score depending on my ratings for story, art, sound & and character and naturally also my enjoyment and have given Freezing a solid 6.6 - which would be 7.
I hope this review could help you with your choice if you want or do not want to give this anime a try. Im grateful for you reading all the way through and hope to see you guys in the next review!

Noragami is something unexpected, something that I hadn't awaited from an anime to be. While not being something extraordinary it certainly scores well in the rannks of Animes.
Hello and Welcome to my Review of Noragami, lets look into the Realms of Gods - shall we?
The story has you follow Yato, a young god of calamity on his quest to help the people in need , so he can store up money to make his own temple. The problem herewith is, that he always buys stuff that he doesnt need, thus making it worthless in trying further more. The catch on this Anime is mostly that
...
the Gods use wandering spirits as their weapons to slay the evil phantoms that take advantage of human needs and amplify them, sometimes so bad that they would inadvertendly kill or kill themselves to achieve their goal.
Anyways, Yatos weapon decides to quit on him - leaving him alone to search for a new one. On his way, he meets unconciciously a girl called Hiyori, who was on her way home with her friends - she thinking that she saw ghosts, and then also seeing that he was about to be overrun by a bus - she then tries to save him by pushing him out of the way. This then gives her the power to go out of her body and become a half phantom, which unfortunately is never explained why this happens. Has she a superb talent? Has she a connection to something supernatural that gave her the chance to become a half-phantom. The cast just speculates on the fact that she might have too much to do with the gods, and thus cant revert.
The story then goes further until Yato has been driven into a corner , when he finally then finds his new weapon - a young boy called which he calls Yukine.. troubling him more then he ever should , yet Yato would never give up on him.
Yato himself is partly a cardboard cutout of a rather clumsy but still rightous character, you find out about his cruel past and that he decides to live on with the desire to fulfill those wishes that were given to him. Hiyori then gave him basically a ray of hope , for a normal life at the end of the tunnel.
Hiyori on the other hand is a caring character with the tick of being a martial arts fan. And this...is unfortunately the only thing you get to know in the anime as the story only revolves around Yato, he naturally is fleshed out well but Hiyori could have deserved some more attention.
The one Character I certainly couldnt get along with, or at least whose desires I didnt get, are those of Yukine. What you will see at the first minute, by Yatos reaction when he got him, but you never hear why, or why he couldnt give up wanting to be human - you just see it outright happening. I dont know, maybe I missed his reasoning , but simply flatout ,,because im dead'' seemed a little unreasonable to me.'
I dont have much to say to the Artdesign , as simply..watch it. In my opinion it deserves praising and fits the situation en point. Those creepy Phantoms especially and that also making it expecially scary at a certain scene.Sound is well done as well - the fight theme particular never goes out of my brain, which is a good job meaning that im a big music fan. There is unfortunately no other theme that especially caught my attention.
Then here we are already at the end of my review. I have calculated the overall score, depending on my rating on story, art, sound and characters as naturally also my personal enjoyment and thus have given Noragami a : 7.4 which would be a solid 7.
At the moment of this review, Noragami still isnt licensed - thus you have to watch the subbed version , if you want to give the series a try.
I thank you for reading all the way through, and hope that this review could help you in the choice if you would like to watch Noragami. See ya next time!

I was honestly excited when reading about this feudal-timed Anime, hoping it would star many of those Sengoku Heroes that are often praised in games like Samurai Warriors. Unfortunately in the kind you see in Brave 10, it doesnt do a very good job.
Hello, My Name is Ryoki and Welcome to my review of the Anime Brave 10. The review contains spoilers. If you dont like spoilers at all, please scroll away.
The scenery is settled in feudal japan, those of you who play or remember playing samurai warriors may be a little bit more familiar with this times. The anime practically throws you into an
...
burning temple where you see a blue haired woman and a priest escape, then as they were stopped and attacked by the enemy - the priest then lets her escape once more through a trapdoor. This was a little bit confusing to myself as i had at least expected an considerable intro. But nonetheless the scene jumps further where you face our main male lead , Saizou Kirigakure.
He is suprised by seeing the woman in the woods and doesnt want to protect her, yet still does it when facing immediate danger, which is her pursuers. The girl insist him to go with her to the nearby Ueda Castle , where the famous Yukimura Sanada should live. Later then she tells him her Name, which would be Isanami and tells him nothing before their journey goes on to Ueda Castle.
Once there, Yukimura decides to make them believe that he isnt interested in protecting them and when they were attacked at the way back - a mysterious orb began to expand from the girls' head. Yukimura sees the potential and decides to let them stay.
As I already said Saizou Kirigakure is our male lead , he is a young shinobi that is mostly known for his cold attitude and also because he refuses to serve anyone. You dont get to know much more about him as the anime tries to cramp in as much as it can from the manga.
Isanami on the other hand is our typical Damsel in Distress, sad/happy female lead. She is a priestess that lived in Izumo before a certain group of ninjas attacked and slaughtered everyone besides her. The twist with her is that she is the reincarnation of the death goddess and is only held back by her hairpin that was blessed by the gods. She pretty much is a big key point during the whole anime as they try to protect her from being taken away and to make her happy as strangely the trigger to summoning the darkness is - for her to be sad. This is something that you might like or not, that is to be left with you.
Also if you dont like obvious stereotypical character, then this anime is definetly not for you. There is no clever packed in twist and you will be able to distinguish them from a mile away like ; ,,That's the bad guy!'' ,,That's the clumsy but too earnest guy.'' ,, That's the blood hungry guy.''
The artstyle is quite good, nothing that would be overestimatingly awesome, but the animation is fitting and sometimes, especially hard with a dancing scene for example (compare Isanamis graceful dance with the cg robot in blade and soul animation, it is quite opionated which one would fit better i think.) The fighting scenes are also very plain animated, dont understand me wrong - it is certainly well done but also here not exceptional. Unfortunately the sound cant keep much up as well, i have the opinion that if a fight comes up , you really have to feal tension - you have to feel epicness, you have to feel tension - that doesnt mean it has to be rock or a certain kind of genre - but something that keeps the viewers atention on the moves. Unfortunately the op, is something that I wouldnt recommend anyone, maybe fitting to ninja movies but it sounds very annoying to me.
Now then based on my personal opinion on story, arstyle, sound and characters and naturall also enjoyment - i issue Brave 10 a : 6
Stream it, if you want to explore this certain universe. At the moment of this review Brave 10 wasn't yet licensed and thus isn't dubbed into english yet. So you will have to deal with subbed episodes.
I hope this review could help you deciding if you want to take a look at Brave 10. See you next time.

Strike the Blood is not the typical vampire anime, its not the apocalyptic universe of Hellsing and neither a unity like in vampire knight - it is another mixed approach on the almost untouched franchise.
My Name is Ryoki and Welcome to my Review of the Anime Strike the Blood.
This Review may contain minor, not plot relevant spoilers. If you dont like spoilers at all, then please scroll away.
The Story has you follow the young highschooler Akatsuki Kojou, in the first minutes it appears like everything is normal right? wrong. Akatsuki lives on an island where magical beings from werewolf over vampires to
...
witches exist. In this World there exist 3 uber-vampires which are called Progenitors, naturally as you can take from it - those are incredibly strong and warlords for the vampires. Akatsuki, though still denying it, is the fourth of them and thus also seen a threat for the human world. The Lion-Organisation, a council of specialiced magician, then decides to send her Disciple Yukina to watch him and is allowed to take actions against him should he try something stupid or become a too big threat. The story has an extremely good premise , unfortunately it is very predictible and doesnt have much clever twists - it shines though in emotional situations and fights - so it is very much up to your self to decide if you like it or not. I personally feel that Strike the Blood has about 5 main plotpoints that repeat in each arc:
-Kojou goes to school
-Kojou gets scolded by his teacher/friend
-Yukina tells him that she will always oversee him
-Kojou gets beaten down and drinks blood from a woman beside him and awakens a new familiar
-Kojou says his touching speach and Yukina her catchphrase in harmony with him and they defeat the enemy
Akatsuki Kojou personally is the typical failing highschooler that you know from other animes like Tokyo Ravens' Harutora for example. Beside his powers, that he had mysteriously obtained by the last progenitor - he is one that protects his friends.
Yukina on the other hand is our tsundere lead, sent by the lion organisation to observe Kojou. She keeps trail on him , searches for him when he's in danger and she is a sword shaman. A sword shaman is a shaman that not really supports many spirits but one and naturally she or he uses a bladed weapon like for Yukinas case ,,Schneewalzer'' the magical spear that cuts through all magic. You unfortunately dont get much background in the whole 24 episodes, there are really just a few scenes of kojous and yukinas past while much more things are explained about his friend Aiba and others. If you want to know more about them, you will certainly have to read the wiki.
The Art in Strike the blood gives you a wild ride, certainly. I loved the amazing fights and also the use of magic. My most favorite part is the angel transformation itself it is scary and also impressive - just as it would need to be. While I'd wish that the sound would be as good as the artstyle, it unfortunately lacked a lot behind , there was just a few times where there was real tension while the others just seemed to be simplistic. The first opening did its job well but the second one didnt seem a good choice to me, i wished it would have been a much more epic one.
Based on my opinion on story, art , sound , character and overall enjoyment -i issue Strike the blood a solid 7.
Better Stream it and wait before buying it , until you know that you really like the anime.I hope this review could you help with your choice a little.

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei is a mixed bag of good fights - exzellent art and music and story but unfortunately a bad deconstruction and character development. Its sounds harsh, but it makes it a choice, like it or like it not - it ultimately needs investment and it isnt easy to simply sit down and look it. It feels a little rushed, let me explain why:
The story has you follow Tatsuya Shiba and his (not so) younger sister Miyuki. They both live in a world where magic became a part of the military arsenal, magicians are trained to be death machines and dominate their battlefield,
...
for this 10 highschools opened and Miyuki and her Brother join the First High.
What you will notice in the very first episode already, is the very overly attached sisterly love that miyuki has (which sometimes extends to rather akward situations.) For Bleach -Fans , im not talking from a combination like Byakuya und Rukia, but a much more attached one.
Anyways, the two of them join the highschool and after passing the test , they are confronted with some of their classmates being bullied from people that have a flower sign on their vest.
This will be explained in the next episode but basically , the schools do separate classes for weaker and for superior magicians and call them ,,Weed'' and ,,Bloom''. Unfortunately you see very often that Tatsuya or his friends are underestimated for this reason and like you surely can guess, their enemy was defeated anyways.
This is however a major plotpoint, since what happens next is a quarrel between two kendo clubs , tatsuya - now joint forces with the disciplinary squad- saw them being buliied. The captain of the Weed-Kendo club -Mibu wanted then to talk to him. She said she felt herself and the other ,,weed'' student bullied and wants tatsuya to help her change that, yet he finds her resolve not worthy and thus he left her sitting.
Later you find out that she has been decieved by an enemy organisation and ,,Blanche'' which wants to attack japan and take informations from their main database.
The point is that the story seems very fast, even with 26 episodes you feel like everything runs from a-b in split seconds - trying to explain or leave it open. What is surely new and refreshing is the Art style and the premise. In that world ,2 different kinds of magic exist, first is modern magic which bases itself around a CAD - a device that a magician wears as a cuff or weapon to amplify spells fast. And older spirit magic, which requires time for the magician to prepare. Both are very well introduced and fit to the universe, it is especially shown at the end of the first arc - when they hold a competition between the schools, thus a good amount of cool and interesting spells are seen.
Sound is...not very interesting , that is if you are a sound lover like me. The first opening and the fighting theme nail it with a techno-ish beat. It makes you feel pumped for the fight and be like ,,yeah!! beat him down!'' I ultimately dont remember any other theme to be exceptionally special. It was a little bit disappointing for me, at least in this point.
Characters, are honestly not that well explained - or at least , there were often things that were questionable which ultmatively lead to read the manga or the novel for more information. One particular scene bothers me very very much , while the other ones could be understood to an amount, this one really is not an understandable choice for me. In an episode at the end, where the Great Asian Alliance attacks, was the first high school cornered in a conference room. The military (naturally) comes conveniently to save them before the main enemy force could join and proceed then to greet Tatsuya as their special officer ,,oguro''. Now you'd expect his friends to say something like : ,,Omg Tatsuya, Why didnt you tell?'' or something like that - right? Doesnt Happen. Everyone seems calm and confused even though it was confirmed that their friend was a super agent, working for the military. Later Miyuki even explains that he has a live saving ability and their was no question at all like ,,Why does he have that? Why didnt he tell us?'' Its a bit strange and makes you feel weird.
Overall however, I think I had a good time with looking the story. Even though it is sometimes extremely confusing, there are also a lot of times where you get good and exciting fights and themes.
Thats why I issue Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei a 7.5-8.
I hope this review could help you, dear reader :)

Claymore is one of the animes that you certainly would look a second time, just to enjoy the thrilling fights, yet while having an already seen concept.
It plays out in a medieval world where predators called ,,Yoma'' reign terror over humanity. They are able to hide in a human ,,shell'' and can pop up anytime to kill and eat a human when they see fit.
Humanity though then showed the politely described ,,Go away'' -Finger to the Yoma by the creation of a sub-race.
A secret organisation has brought women together and had let them consume Yoma flesh, or implanted yoma flesh into them. The
...
result to that is that they gain the power to see Yoma even in their human shell, but in exchange -they have to stay emotionless. When those girls unleash their emotions, the yoma in them rises and thus takes over them. If they reach a certain limit then they are not able to revert to their human form.
I will come back to this part in a bit.
The Story brings us Raki, a young boy that that had lost his parents due to a yoma attack and thus was left only with his brother who tries to teach him swordsmanship. Raki is faced with a sudden yoma attack and even that the elder called the famous ,,Claymore'' to their aid. Claymore , is an unfortunately not explained nickname that the citizen gave the cursed women. Some say that they could see nothing behind those eyes , yet when they changed the colour - they were able to see Yoma.
A young woman with short hair then arrives at the city, she was the one called, but then the story does a rushed step where raki gets attacked by the yoma that hid himself as his brother while telling him bit by bit that he was the one that ate his brother back then.
Naturally this wont go unnoticed by the Claymores' Eye, and she saves the little boy Raki. Him having nothing left, he began to follow her and thus we finally hear her name, Claire.
Claire is basically the same like Raki. The story begins to deconstruct her by showing a bit of affection and care for his welldoing while she protects and trains him too. Up to that point where she even gets saved through his will. Despite Claire being clarified well in the story. We unfortunately get little to no more information about Rakis Backstory during the whole series. The Plot goes then further to introduce the main villain, a demoness called ,,Priscilla'' which violently killed Claires guardian and her friends back then. You get a good feel from then on that she seeks only and only to avenge her killed friend.
Coming then to Art. If you are a fan of gore - you will be fine with this. The art is trying to be realistically and creative and when something should look like it hurts - it does look very very very painful. I was also amazed at the competitive fights and the different yoma designs, not to forget that its style its leaned towards older anime maybe bringing even a bit more comic-like features in it. The sound is more medieval oriented and thus also very fitting. Though while the Opening is very fitting, i feel like the battle themes hadnt had the power they should. Theme should make you pumped, should make you excited for the fight..yet it went a little lash, but thankfully the plot makes up for that so it wont get boring midway through.
Characters, as already mentioned, were sometimes left out and not really well fleshed out, leaving you with scenes that hadnt much reasoning attached to them. Like, why did Teresa not kill Priscilla -it is clear that she would have been a threat, why did she hesitate at the moment of Priscilla being overtransformed and begging to be killed. I know that the new Priscilla might have been too fast for her, but ît seemed like she gave time on purpose instead of ending it quickly.
Though some flaws, i mostly had enjoyed Claymore - even looking it in English dub and japanese dub too. (though i ensure you that watching the original jp dub is much better) i issue it a solid : 7.5
If you have read it all up until here, know that im very grateful for that :) and i Hope that my review could have helped you making the choice to watch it or not.

I dont know how to start this review, so it might be the best to put a little disclaimer: Black Bullet is an anime, that requires your attention. It is an anime that you have to watch concentrated, else it will throw you of and you probably will tend not to like.
Reasoning for that is the fast pacing, everything happens in a fast manner that it may throw you of if you werent watching carefully. Go in with an open mind at it will pay of.
Black Bullet may be an overdone scenario, but it is yet more unique than you might think it to be.
...
At the beginning you are greeted wiith a rather horrible scenario. Humanity in colonies, the sky is red and clouded while their surroundings are partly burning. They think they might be save but a giant monster crashes through the sky, inflicting panic and many death before it finally came to death as the scene stops on our main protagonist, Rentaro.
It is unfortunately only later explained what actually was happening to them. Humanity was attacked by a terrible menace, an alien virus called ,,Gastrea''. The virus was sent in by monsters with animal-like behaviour and the most terryfing part is the one hit -certain death, penalty. The reason for the eradication is that we had no anti-bodies to fight the virus - once bitten or just a tiny bit entering our body and the virus would assimilate aggressively. When it has 50 % of the cells under control, the virus will destroy the human shell of a host and thus a new gastrea is born.
Next in the plot we see Rentaro in New Tokyo or better the Tokyo District - as those who survived have hidden together in the rest what was left of their cities, these are protected by huge walls made of varanium - a metall that Gastrea despise and thus avoid.
Rentaro had found the signs of an infection in the city, but is yet greeted by a misterious masked man - calling upon that he would bring destruction to the world. Rentaro was unfortunately defeated as his partner Enju arrives but likely they found the infested citizen. Here comes the tricky part then, which makes me kind of angry and confused everytime i come over it. Humanitys' last Hope are the cursed children. You hear that the gastrea virus was passed down over the mouth into pregnant women and instead of taking over the body it deeply hardened in the cells of the child. Those childs gain red eyes and superhuman abilitys to destroy the other gastrea.
The fucked up thing i had with that is that those children are treated like trash. They live in slums and only the least citizen treat them like actual humans - except the promoter and even those have some a**holes in them. You get a really hard example, where a young girl had blinded herself by bleaching her eyes, just to be excepted by the other humans. What you deal with is no light anime, but one that deals with heavy questions like:
- How can you survive?
- How do you treat your friends?
- What ideals will you stand for?
- Can you accept one of them, or can you stand being one of them?
As you see, the story can be really astonishing and confusing- if you want to watch it then you have to keep on. The art is quite fascinating, the gastrea are well made and terrifying to see, though i may have wished for some drawn versions instead of CGI ones here and there. Sound instead is very spot on, you will feel pumped and sometimes also scared. The op , sung by fripside is very fitting to the anime universe. It shows a dedication to a well thought out plot and invites you to let you immerse yourself.
Unfortunately due to the fast paced plot, much of the information had to be squished in a thus much other characters have been left as cameos and are not even nearly explained, which is disappointing. Though it having a lot of flaws, i had great fun with it and kept on watching.
Given the respective points, i have calculated the score based on story- sound , art and characters and my personal enjoyment which is why im am issuing the series a 7.6 which rounds up to 8.
It is unfortunately opinionated, you can not definetly say ,,Watch it, you definetly are gonna like it.''
I personally advice you to at least give it a try.

I think the expression ,,spin-off'' should have been kind of changed for some anime. Some of those, like Railgun - show us another side of whats happening.
To Aru Kagaku no Railgun , or like in english ,,A Certain Scientific Railgun'' is an anime side-story from To Aru Majutsu no Index, a famous novel book series and naturally also a manga & an anime.
The same like Index, Railgun sets of in the city called ,,Academic City'' a city that is 30 years in front of humanit in things of technology and thus they have managed to grant their students super powers, the espers.
The beginning is a
...
little bit weird, if you will. We see the main protagonist Misaka standing on a bridge, she opens up a drink and relaxes there before some thugs come over the way attempting to hit on her and maybe harm her. Little do they know, that they are the ones that will be harmed. Before her friend Kuroko , from the security group ,,judgement'', arrived- the thugs already lay defeated on the floor, a little bit coaled while a few sparks still flew around them.
It is in my opinion a little bit too fast paced and action scenes jump out of nothing, which can be interesting for some but also a little bit confusing for the next. What you will realise during the watch is the exagorating of a matter. Like in the very first episodes where they have to deal with a stalker that tends to tase strong espers from a known school.Kuroko and her partner Uiharu went to their Office to investigate as her colleague wanted to show her picture with an dark atmosphere like ,,Watch on your own concern.'' It makes you think that the victims were stabbed, penetrated, cut everywhere, punched and ready for hospital....and it turns out that the stalker only drew big eyebrows on them. I couldnt stop laughing there, but for others it may be a pointless exagoration.
I dont know what to say much to the Artstyle, im a fan of the drawn animes, instead of using too much CGI or 3-D effects. Railgun stays well in those boundaries and amazes with flashy fights and absolutely cool attacks. Just like the sound matches up to the situation, you always knew when a certain beat came up then shit had hit the fan and misaka starts to go out for real. It is kind of a techno mix, yet i wish some themes would have likely taken out. For example, there will be a very annoying piano theme when kuroko gets too attached. It is durable the first 2-3 times and i know its supposed to be annoying but at latest by the 5th time you will be like ,,Oh god..here we go again..''
Railgun also does not do much more then basic character progression, the only characters we learn about are Saten Ruiko and Harue and a small bit from kuroko and uiharus past but besides that it is unfortunately a bit left out. It is not that you feel that you need more backstorys etc. It is one of those ,,Wanna know more ? read the wiki/novel/manga'' progression. Something that might could have done better.
Overall I enjoyed Railgun very much, i laughed , it was exciting and the flaws i mentioned didnt draw my attention away. I personally hope that we can see more from this exciting universe, it surely seems to be fun.
My Score is a tough loved : 8
I hope my review could have been helpful to you guys. Dont let yourself be fooled by other saying ,,its a Shoujo manga'' it certainly is not :) with an open mind , you are guaranteed to have fun watching railgun.

So, small disclaimer before I start my review. For this anime, you most likely will have to shut of any kind of logic you might reconsider, you wont find any of it here. If you decided to give it a shot, then listen closely to its story as it will likely kick you of to the reaction of ,,Wait,What?'' when you miss a small detail. Now to to the real review..
Tokyo ESP had also been one of the newest Animes of the last season. It is the Story of a Highschool Girl called Rinka Urushiba. Now the first thing you'll see is that the atmosphere

reminds of old and brings you nostalgia from animes like ,,Detective Conan'' or ,,Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne''.
Now Rinka does seem to be the everyday Highschool-Girl until she meets a dear Friend to her. And from here on the story takes the crazy route.
Both of them meet and are able to see flying golden fishes, a living phenomenon that if it flies through you , you are going to get ESP-Powers. Rinka in this way did get the ability to go through objects and let objects pass through her.
The Story then takes quick and fast turns, which is incredibly confusing if you are not very focusing. So if you just casually watch anime , without trying to invest yourself into a particular anime, this will not be a good choice for you.
It takes a few episodes to realise that what I already said, it takes good examples from old animes and unfortunately fails to recreate their glory and has some incredibly corny lines now and then. What never had gotten into me is the first approach of the villains-it is not menacing it is just a girl and a huge-hulk-like guy that dress up as samurai and are able to ,,guide'' those fishes.
The Sound is a bit lost and query, you dont feel emotion with it as you normally should. Like an epic battle theme or to show the struggle. It is rather mediocre, so if you are an audible person like me, you wont like this anime.
Characters, as I already said - are a bit corny and more stereotypical, there could have been much more done with the old man in the panda costume for example. It leaves much questions open like , why did the professor change to a hatred with such big extent. Why does his daughter keep following him, despite her wanting to change, is ESP lost with death ?
Overall I didnt enjoy it that much, the only point where the emotion really hits you is when the doctors wife , after they were badly wounded, uses her esp and her last bit of power before she dies in his arms.
An overall point of 5-6. It didnt really go where I thought it would have been
If you decide to immerse yourself in this anime, do one thing, which is keeping an open view and do not try to find the red line to connect everything, it will be much more enjoyable then.
