Because of that I added Ghost Hunt to my Plan to Watch list.
I'd like to suggest a few movies:
The Girl Who Leapt Through Time
Paprika
Sword of the Stranger (Not as certain you'd enjoy this one)
A few Anime series I think you'd enjoy:
Great Teacher Onizuka - Give it at least 4 episodes before quitting on it. I enjoyed the dubbed version.
One Outs - First half of the series is great even though it's baseball. Watch at least 8 episodes.
Azumanga Daioh - I did not enjoy this anime but based off what others you've watched you may really enjoy this. One episode will give you a solid idea of how the whole Anime is.
Mushi-shi - This one is quite different from anime you've watched. It's a serious-toned episodic anime but if you do enjoy this I know of several others to suggest. Just watch two episodes at least.
