If you're looking for a serious and realistic romance anime, Lovely Complex is definitely not for you. This anime is like your typical shoujo romance anime but without all the stupid melodramas that always makes these types of shows unbearable and instead it's replaced with moments that will make you wonder whether am I really watching a romance anime.
Firstly, lets talk about the characters, i do found some of the characters annoying but my god the main duo makes up for it. This dumb lovable duo have i think one of the best character chemistry in anime. Both of them are really funny and

the voice acting performances for them is on point to the point i think they really do be enjoying a bit much of the script. Everytime these two idiots are on screen, i would smile and laugh with them and im pretty sure they are the ones carrying this series.
Now lets talk about the story. Personally, the story is not that good but i wouldn't say its bad. Its more like all over the place but i do enjoy many parts of the story enjoyable to watch, some mini stories that took only 2 episodes are completely unnecessarry and pointless. But overall if overlook them, the show is totally still a blast to watch.
I found the soundtrack really average and the animation looks like what you would expect from a mid 2000s slice of life anime. But overall, do i think the show is great? No. But if you ask how much enjoyable is the anime, its pretty damn enjoyable to watch my dude
