This will be more of a rant than a reivew.

Long story short, go read the manga, if you end up liking it, go check out the light novel.

I usually don't write reviews and am usually very generous with how I rate anime/manga in general. If it is somewhat enjoyable or there was some aspect of the show which was 'well done' or even one moment which was memorable. Just one those fact present, I would give the shows a decent rating.

I come from the manga, where the art was quite to my liking and the pacing of the story was great as well. ... Sadly the manga is stopped/discontinued after 40 chapters. So disappointing.. thought the anime will be somewhat decent but turned out not that great.

Maybe I should have managed my expectations? I thought after the Demon Slayer, Mushoku Tensei anime. Companies would give more emphaisis on Art and Pacing.

The anime skipped so much stuff it is too disappointing. Oh well.

Since I like the source material, I don't want to rate the anime any less than 7/10.
