After seeing the notification from MAL I was excited for this special episode. But it was a complete summary.

Even though it's a summary episode, I watched all of it without skipping.

If you have watched the anime week by week, you may have missed some details or did not fully understand some parts, and if you don't want to waste your time watching the whole series again, I recommend you to watch this directly. Shortly 11 episodes in 1 episode. But if you haven't watched the whole series and you're planning to watch this one summary episode you won't be able to understand the ... series.

Basically it was a great summary for someone who watched the whole series. I recommend you to watch it before 2nd season.

To be honest, I was biased to "mecha" series. After this anime started, I saw the cover and I really loved it even if it is not that flashy. I am not a person that judges the anime by just its cover but I really wanted to watch this serie. I don't know, maybe something attracted me. I have watched all the episodes that came out and I can say that:

"This serie is more than robots, mechanical items".

The subject covered in the background, musics... they all so good and definitely worth watching. I really loved it!

I heard that it adapted from light novel. I ... didn't read it, only watched the anime so I don't know much about characters, their personalities. Therefore, I can't talk about the character's I liked and disliked sides. But I want to talk about Shinei Nouzen (Undertaker). He is a little bit quiet, cold person and he does what he wants. He has same voice actor with Ayanokouji from Classroom of the Elite (Shouya Chiba) and this voice fits him so well!!

This is the first "mecha" serie I have ever watched and I am really happy to overcame my prejudice. Waiting for the next episode with a great excitement.

Actually, it has been a few months since I watched Zetsuen no Tempest. But after setting up a MAL account, I wanted to write a review for this anime (and this is going to be my first review). Because it is one of my favourite anime and it definitely deserves more recognition.
Note: I am not a native English speaker so, sorry for the mistakes.

Story
Finding the reason of Aika's death, secret love between ... Yoshino and Aika, Mahiro and Yoshino's friendship... When I write like this it can seen like a slice of life serie. But it is not. There are magic and more. But I think this "magic" is different from other "magical" animes. All events were so exciting and good even it can be hard to understand, confusing sometimes. While you are watching, you can predict some points (which is so hard because the story can be mindblowing sometimes) but honestly I couldn't, except one thing. Even if you predict that points you can't be sure and this makes it more exciting. As I remember there were no filler episodes and in my opinion 24 episodes were enough for the serie. The story done well. Also I want to say that this serie made me buy some Shakespeare books. Because throughout the anime, there were quotes from Shakespeare Hamlet and The Tempest. After the serie I wondered these two and bought them.

Art
It is an anime made in 2012. That's why so many people might think the art of the serie can be bad. But it is not bad. In my opinion, it even has more beautiful drawings than some other newer animes. It has a little bit dark and cold atmosphere and it fits so well.

Characters
- Mahiro: He wants to know who is responisble for his sisters death and he can do everything for that purpose. He is so strong physically but emotionally he has so much inside about her sister's death.

- Yoshino: He is quiet, calm and smart boy. He doesn't express his feelings. Even after death of Aika (his lover), we still see him mostly calm and quiet. He is not like Mahiro about this topic. But after we see that he has so much inside, her death devastated him.

- Fuwa Aika... one of my favorite character. I could have write so many things about her but I don't want to give spoilers. She is so strong, smart and beautiful. I don't know how to express this in any other way but even her death was so beautiful. Just beautiful...

Soundtracks
I want talk about the background musics/ost in a seperate title. Because they are amazing! They are classical musics and you become addicted with them. There are about 30 and I am addicted wtih 2 of them. You never get bored even if you listen over and over. They are so relaxing, beautiful but sad at the same time. I don't know how to explain it but when I listen I remember the serie, Aika and this makes me sad but at the same time I feel like I've found the perfect music and listening it. I recommend you to listen/download them even if you won't watch the serie. I am pretty sure you will find the best for you from these 30.
