Story: 8
The story is very original, it does get confusing at points, especially nearing the end of the show. Explaining this further there are a a few pieces missing here and there that could have been explained better with more episodes or more time. Though this bothered me it still kept me entertained.
Art: 6
I really was touch and go with the art, it seemed like the characters would change every other episode. Though some could see this as a plus, I think it's a negative here. Though there were some pretty epic looking monster/characters in the fights and background though. (The guy up stairs,
...
as he was called.) Though the fights were extremely lacking and had so many dull moments, I think they did fine on the art.
Characters: 7.5
I love how the main character has no idea what he was doing in the beginning, and how that was portrayed him doing right from wrong. I also loved how him and his asset were in love but acted as only friends. You could see a lot of this during the battle scenes. I do think there should have been more time or episodes for better character development.
Overall: 6.5
This was a enjoyable anime. It requires a lot of thought and attention. A huge issue I had with this series is how all over the place it was towards the end, it seemed like they packed all they could in to each episode leaving major plot holes and undeveloped talent. The ending battle just wasn't a end battle if you know what I mean. To sum it up, If they would have made it a 15 to 20 episode series it would have gotten a better review. Now don't get me wrong I enjoyed the show, but it wasn't as action packed as I thought it was going to be.
