The purpose of this account is to post my anime reviews. I have far more anime viewing experience than indicated by the stats of my profile. I have seen far more anime than are actually included in the 'lists' of this profile.
My median rating for anime that I watch to completion is 6/10. I do not rate anime that I drop. I drop approximately 50% of the anime I try watching, but keep in mind that I am always searching for hidden gems and sift through a lot of trash as a result.
Very generally speaking, my favourite genres are drama, slice of life, and fantasy. I have quite broad tastes though and will give anything a chance. Conversely, I tend to like comedy, action, and shounen series less than the average anime viewer. These are just general trends, and I have found titles from every genre that I've enjoyed.
I tend to watch a lot of less-popular titles, so if you're searching for diamonds in the rough then my reviews might be helpful to you. I almost never include spoilers in my reviews, and when I do they are clearly identified and can be avoided.
Feedback is always welcome, both positive and negative! :)

Though I still don't see what's complex and intelligent about it. To me, the emotion mechanics of a show are what reveal its intelligence, and I don't rate it highly in that regard. Interestingly, I read an interview from the author, and when asked what she was trying to do or explore with the characters, she said she wanted to explore how Yakumo got this way (as in how he got so mopey in old-age). This to me is a confirmation that the author's aims were to create drama and angst and not resolve it, as is the pattern among BL authors. I mean, really, obsessing over the same man even after getting married to another man and having a kid? Both parents dropping to their deaths in a freak accident, so as to give the MC something to angst about for the rest of his life? As for the paternity controversy, that's another confirmation of the mindset of the author.
