I've heard of this anime for a long time, but never got into it because there's so many episodes and I didn't want to start from the beginning...So I jumped into Season 6. After watching a few episodes, including the classics within Season 6, I asked myself "What took me so long to get into Gintama!?"
I love the humor, the characters and that was enough to get me hooked.
I wouldn't mind starting from Season 1, but I'll do that once I finish Season 6.
