This anime could have been a 10/10 if it had some sort of depth or drama. The animation is freaking beautiful, the colors, the characters all of it. The music is top notch, and flows so well with the animation. The characters appearances were amazing, and the main character Akebi has so much personality.

The show has no depth. All the ladies are all so nice to each other, there’s no romance, there’s no deep sad story behind any of the characters. If this show had some sort of mean girls, drama, romance, like some sort of life hardship, ... etc something to give it more depth I would be freaking 10/10ing this show on my list. However I found myself dreading the finish the last few episode after the hype of the beautiful animation and music wore off.

With such low reviews I wasn’t expecting much from the show, but I was blown away by the amazing colors and looks of the characters, and the intro song that is original to the show? Don’t understand the bad reviews? There were a few spots where the animation looked alittle funny in moments, but that was just the animation style. Most 12 or 13 core shows have a few episodes ... that are super slow and boring but honestly all the episodes were intriguing and interesting. Great show overall!

Going into this show I knew nothing about it. The animation was 10/10, the characters and uniqueness were 9/10, and there was a lot to love. However the more I watched it there was NO development of romance between the characters. 0 hand holding, kiss, confessions, etc the animation and characyers carried me to watch to the end, but was alittle disappointed there was no development. If the show has maintained everything AND given us atleast some development between the characters, even an “Accidental kiss” when 1 of the characters figured out their true feelings. Something. It could have easy been a 9/10 or a ... 10/10 show in my book.

This show was way more than I was expecting. It is not your typical anime romcom. It is a lot deeper, it has some dark moments, but it makes it feel realistic. It’s not just ecchi and bouncing boobs either.

It actually has one of the most extensive plots I’ve ever seen in an anime. The dub actors put on such a great performance it felt so realistic in the emotions that the character would be feeling.

The show concludes in a great way, and just feels so genuine. I recommend it to anyone. Just be prepared to have an emotional ... ride along the way.

I am one that finds interest in shows that feel like they could be a legit story and not just slapstick humor. This show had enough humor moments, but still keeps the vibe of realism.

I thought the movie was great! It had amazing visuals, the story is very captivating, and it has some similarity’s to beauty in the beast in parts, but they completely change it so it’s different in its own way. The singing voices are phenomenal. It’s alittle slow getting started but I feel it holds out throughout! I feel the characters react in a way that feels realistic. The main character had trauma at a young age so she is a bit of a socially awkward kid that is sad, but as you see her character develop and change it makes you feel good ... inside.
