Uhhh welp, I'll keep this short, this is Dungeon Meshi. An original fantasy story by RPG geek Ryoko Kui.
She puts her knowledge of RPGs on full display and crafts a world where each character, race, monster and place fits into the story. Layers of this world and characters will be peeled back and revealed to you as you progress in each episode.
And Ryoko ... Kui shows all this ingeniously and amusingly through food and cooking.

If you like D&D then you're in for a treat (minus the part where everyone is a murder-hobo). So follow the main characters in their amusing campaign as they venture deeper into the dungeon.

So personally I believe 99% of Isekai manga are garbage. Without fail they fall apart as the story progresses and it becomes the same old mess in the end.

But "Fantasy Bishoujo Juniku Ojisan to" sticks out when you keep reading it. On the surface level everything about it is pretty standard for an Isekai ( minus the gender bender part ) and you might even forget about it after the first chapter. However there is one thing that separates itself from the rest, the comedy.

Everything in this manga is structured to support the comedy. The story makes just enough sense for all the ridiculous ... things our characters get into, the two main characters are well written to bounce off one another like a slapstick duo, the side characters don't feel one-note; they're actual people, the extras elevate the hilarity of the situation and the art perfectly conveys the punchlines.

This is comedy. So don't take this seriously because the mangaka isn't.

This is pure parody of boys BL and it is great.

Story - 10
It's your stereotypical BL plot but since this is a parody, it doesn't waste any time making fun of it.

Art - 10
The art is, to say the least, not detailed which in itself is poking fun of the usually well drawn out characters in BLs. The wonky animation is very humorous in that regard.

Sound - 10
It's a passing grade.

All the characters have their own strong points and behaviors just like typical BLs.

Enjoyment - 10
If you want a lighthearted laugh then you will enjoy this.

Overall - 10
Each episode being only 3 minutes long is perfect for this type of show. The gags are on point and impactful in each episode. I really enjoyed it.
