My god, this is an awesome anime. Most likely one of my favorite shoujo so far, and i'm not even all that interested in that kind of stuff normally.
Though it is short, it's lovable in that sense, not ever dragging on (and on and on and on...) like other anime.
My favorite part if the series would have to be the character-focused story arc that inherently comes with deep character development, especially involving Kotoura herself, whom i found to be quite engaging and watching her personal growth throughout the brief time given.
Trying not to indulge too much into spoilers, i found that she started with a

tragic story about loss, but it ended in a perfect way, giving good closure to most of her problems.
I have only one criticism: the story could be a bit more focused. Around the beginning it's a sound solid plot, but begins to drift a bit when a random detective mystery is crow-barred into it (may i add that Muroto-kun would be a perfect detective Conan) and the ending, although giving closure, does it by rushing a bit, trying to fix all of her problems in one fell swoop.
Despite this, this is a terrific anime and i would definitely recommend it
