No worries! Evangelion is pretty hit-or-miss for most people, people who hate it hate it, and people who love it REALLY love it. Tbh though that's the way it is with most "classic" anime, and everyone usually has one or two well-regarded shows that they just can't bring themselves to like and that's perfectly normal. I guess one of the benefits of watching Evangelion is that you can see it's influence in a lot of subsequent anime, but if you're not big into that mecha/psychological genres it's fine, at least you know what you enjoy.

Hi just wanted to say that I appreciated your review of Neon Genesis Evangelion. Personally, I enjoyed the main show a lot, but I agree that the ending of both the main series and the film were extremely disappointing & substandard, and the franchise often gets more praise than it sometimes deserves.
