I personally really enjoyed this anime, I can see how it might not be for everyone, but it gave me a good laugh, it seems quite sadistic at the start, but it gets a lot more wholesome as it goes on. As far as slice of life goes this is one I would recommend, I would have liked to have seen senpai and Nagatoro's relationship develop further, but I suppose this will come in season 2.
The anime starts with what seems like pretty relentless bullying against an innocent loner who doesn't want any trouble, which it pretty much is, but as the story develops,
...
it becomes clear that Nagatoro actually has a crush on senpai, who for most of the show seems unaware, he also likes her back, but because he has never experienced those feelings before he doesn't seem to realise that he likes her, she begins to hang out with him more and he eventually gets to know her friends to. Nagatoro and her friends are constantly teasing him, which makes for some pretty funny jokes (although often repeated throughout the show). Senpai slowly gets a backbone through the show, he starts as an antisocial loner, but slowly comes out of his shell, good character development, I also thought most of the side characters were pretty funny to. There is a lot of art to which I liked. But it is very dependent on the viewer whether you will like this or not, its definitely not for everyone.
I must add my personal opinion, The faces she makes are very funny, and the way her arms wiggle all the time makes me smile, her eyes when she gets mad stare into your soul
