Be warned: LS is one of those animes that ppl either absolutely hate it, or absolute love it. It happens that I LOVE IT; in fact, it is my favourite anime of all time.
It has some pretty standard roster of characters playing stereotypes, but I find them all cute and funny. Great voicing and art on characters too.
Humour depends on you. To me, it is hilarious and I was bursting in laughter the first time I watch it, but know that it is a slow paced slice of life anime (nothing is gonna happen) and some jokes required further knowledge as they keep

alluding to haruhi, otaku culture and other japanese stuff. Having watched it before I watched Haruhi, I had to go back and rewatch to get some jokes. Other times it has subtle humour, so ppl with no patience should not watch. I still remember how it trolled me with the food discussion. wont say anymore.
It is 100% clean. If I remember right there is no sexual stuff hinted at all. It manages to make a scene with a bunch of naked characters in spa completely clean. I like it that way as it has chosen strictly to adhere to its own style of humour.
tl;dr = try watching one ep. If you like it then continue. If you dont then stop, cuz its gonna be just like that thruout the whole anime.
