Koutetsujou no Kabaneri

Once you see a trailer or read the description on this anime you might think: hmm... hold on a sec... where have I heard that before....? Well lets say it's not like they're even trying to pretend it's not almost exactly like Shingeki no Kyojin. Even the Soundtrack is basically the same! However I still can't decide which I like more. However if you enjoyed Attack on Titan, you will most likely enjoy this anime as well. Even though they're so similar, you don't feel like you're watching the same thing. I wont go into more detail how they are alike. But how is Koutetsujou no Kabaneri distinct from Shingeki no Kyojin? Mainly the setting. First Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress seems to be a bit more futuristic, since Attack on Titan appears almost medieval. While in both anime there is a town, in which our main character and his friends live, it is only one huge town surrounded by many walls in Attack on Titan. However there are more of those in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, which are connected by rails. This means of transportation also poses a threat to the towns, but this way an extremely thrilling journey unfolds! The characters are a bit different, too. But in a way that fits the story very well! Well go and see for yourself which one of those two anime you like better!
