I did not have much of an incentive to start Katekyo Hitman Reborn besides the constant hype about it and the constant appearance of Reborn, the strange sized and looking baby that seemed to appear on most billboards promoting anime festivities. A good friend of mine recommended me to start it, saying KHR would suit my tastes.
I confess that I tried reading 30 chapters of the manga first before giving up on it. What I could not tolerate was the less than tasteful art and Gokudera's introduction. All I could think of was WTH is this world and why does it seem to think
...
a naked boy shrouded in flames screaming and another dude running around with bombs is normal?! I just closed my manga tab and left KHR on the shelves until this fateful year: 2013. I moved on to,
the Anime.
The anime for KHR has incredible art, sound effects and made my general enjoyment soar. The only disappointed I had with it was that it ended too soon for my liking (yes, I know 203 is a long life for most animes) and the repetitiveness of keeping up the personality of characters.
-Gokudera just had to keep butting into everyone else's considerably reasonable and good ideas. For a smart guy, his patience is his downstreak.
-Lambo... lets not talk about him shall we?
-Tsuna does not display his newfound wit even by the end of the anime (besides the I will destroy the Vongola bit), which he does superbly in what I have heard from the manga.
Nonetheless, Katekyo Hitman Reborn is one anime I indefinitely RECOMMEND.
