I binged this along with S1 after being bored and not having anything else to watch. I was turned off S1 for a loooong time because of the bad reviews but it turns out to be pretty good. Maybe my standards were just low because of all the reviews but I enjoyed it a lot and found S2 to be even better. The MC is no longer extremely OP and seems to have great fights. I kept away from this anime because of all the bad reviews. Honestly I'm surprised by all of the bad reviews. It turns out to be one of my favorite animes. The animation was pretty bad, but the story was great and I ended up binging both season 1 and 2. Season 2 was better in my opinion but season 1 was still good. What a lot of people may think is that it's a generic OP Isekai with tons of ecchi, the ecchi part is true, but it's pretty similar to shield hero in terms of vibe, but a lot less dark. The MC

For starters, this is the second anime/manga/manhua where I decided to actually read the source material after starting. After episode 4, it started to get interesting, and after episode 8, I just had to read the source material. For me, this is the best isekai I have seen, far above the rest. it is not the typical OP MC anime like Slime which I enjoyed but thought was way overhype and everything was just so easy for the first season. For Mushoku, the great art, sound, overall production value, just make it watchable, but it is the riveting story that makes it a masterpiece.
