10 - Plot is connected smoothly with large amounts of storytelling and themes, or is highly emotional to watch with lots of funny and sad moments. Characters are relatable or have a sense of style to them, making them unforgettable. Animation/Art has beautiful detail or highly engaging action scenes. Soundtrack is epic or emotional, with lots of variety and connection to them. Anime is able to be rewatched over and over again.

9 - Plot is connected smoothly and highly emotional but has some slow parts, plot holes and confusing segments. Characters are relatable and well-designed, but may come off as generic or little development. Animation/Art is very well done with epic fight scenes or beautiful art, but may be lacking in quality at certain points. Soundtrack is epic and emotional and Anime is highly enjoyable and can be re-watched over and over again.

8 - Plot may be confusing and slow at parts, but has great moments and is overall entertaining and somewhat logical. Characters may not be unique or have a style, but are amusing or interesting. Animation/Art is good but may drop in quality or not have high level action segments. Soundtrack is good but not noticeable, anime has some great moments but can only be re-watched once/twice.

7- Plot is either boring or incredibly convoluted, with lots of plot holes and inconsistent in tone. Characters have little development and little personality, but one or two characters may be fun to watch. Animation/Art is average at most with some good action scenes or well animated moments. Soundtrack is repetitive and barely noticeable and anime may have some great moments to re-watch but overall falls flat.

6 - Plot is very confusing and makes no sense, or is incredibly boring with the story seemingly going nowhere with no emotional stakes/connection. Characters are boring with no development or interesting traits/designs. Animation/Art is average but can be quite bad in some cases, or have very bad action scenes. Soundtrack may have one or two good tracks but overall is very bland, and anime has virtually no good scenes to re-watch.

5 - Plot is nonsensical and insulting to watch, moving way to fast to understand or too slow to pay attention and get invested. Characters are completely bland with no development, or too many characters present. Animation/Art is poor with scenes being average in quality at most. Soundtrack is average while the anime won't be rewatched.

4≤ - Plot absolutely makes no sense and is simply ridiculous. Characters are horribly designed and have terrible personality. Animation/Art is horrible with very bad action scenes. Soundtrack is poor with it not matching with the animation, while the anime may be dropped or never watched again. Depending on humor/insult factor, the score decreases.
