Again ... how the heck is this anime on all the "best isekai" "best romance" anime lists?
Ok just start with the good things first: animation (that's all)
No joke ... the animation quality is the only valuable thing here.
The plot is ok but more like meh. Filled with cliches.
SPOILERS ahead:
To be perfectly true i really enjoyed the isekaied soldier/weapons line. That was great.
BUT. The characters are like the ones in those cheap soap operas.

The first season was good. Not a masterpiece but well balanced.
I was so hyped to watch the second and man ... spoilers ahead. I really don't know why would anyone call this anime "romantic". (yes we're talking about the anime not the LN here). In the anime there is no real romantic development. In the second season the characters are out of their skin ... they're nothing like the ones in the first season. The MC turned into a boot licking simp, the Wolf entity turned into a toxic , whiny little "girl". I know it's hard to perfectly write a character especially when its a female entity ...

I find it very frustrating that people are rating animes based on their feelings not based on facts. There are lots of great animes with a plot may some people find uncomfortable but just because the plot or the art is beyond these peoples' pink bubble / comfort zone it is not necessary that these animes are bad.
This is the case with Redo of Healer. I's an amazing anti-hero, revenge borderline anime with a more than OK story and characters, great animations, amazing voice acting and overall sound work. SPOILER: Some people write in their reviews that it's about rape and suff and they can't sympathize ... |
