The ratings are the least of my concern in writing this review, so instead of numbers, I'll give you words.
The story and the art are just as you'd expect from the likes of those that brought us Anohana, totally unique. The soundtrack is pretty good, nothing really groundbreaking—but it fit the tone of the movie at every toss and turn. Excellent work in those three departments.

Alright, this is my first review on this site.
I'm only writing this because people are literally /ripping/ this adaptation apart, differences between the anime and manga be nixed. The manga was rushed in the last ~10 [give or take] chapters, so saying that the manga was better is only going to fuel the flames of clashing opinions. That being said, what did you expect Pierrot to do? Animate the manga? With all the plot holes it /already has/?
