Both Rakudai Kishi no Cavary and Gakusen Toshi Asterisk are anime talking about magic, and how they are fighting in a tournament. Both have a bit of harem, even though we can see that the main character has a preference for one of the girls. Also, they both get known in their schools for having done something special, and enter the tournament for a personal reason.

...then you might like Shinmai Maou no Testament add

You like harem, ecchi anime? Well, bith of those are for you. With a pretty much stupid hero who doesn't understand that 96 girls like, and who tries to become stronger in both cases, and with plots talking about demons, angels and stuff like that, both anime are very similar in genre.

If you liked Angel Beats! add

...then you might like Charlotte add

Both shows have a similar artstyle and (personally) I find them very pretty. The story is deep in both cases, and you just want to watch more of it. Also, both anime have a "good" ending, as you don't mind the story finishing there. Lastly, these two series have many different characters, and a love story which isn't ecchi or harem (FINALLY!).
